Got my partners Polo analysed by Bosch certified technicians, diagnosis: scrap the car because it would cost £600 to fix and probably not worth it. Followed your instructions (with disconnecting the battery), car is good as new. Thank you so much for this video!

damn you might be saving me thousands of dollar. those mechanic just tell me to replace the whole abs unit. but they never diagnose as per what you did. i found defect on my fuse too, will change it tomorrow and see whether can fix it or not. thanks for your video bro!

@@MrTwo9 i try to reset the codes but no luck. my car has hid light install. i read through some complaint that the hid ballast will effect the abs module.

Thanks for sharing It worked on my MK3 Seat Ibiza same 1.2 3 cylinder, was just the fuse all along luckily I didn't have to get anything replaced and pay ££ for free seeing as there was a spare 40 amp in the middle connector

I'd be interested to know if there are any physical symptoms that would indicate a fautlly ABS unit. I ask because I have a polo with weird braking issues. The particular issues being an odd 'knocking' felt through the pedal with coupled pedal sinking and loss of brake effectivity when braking over rough/loose ground. The problem appears to be worse in wet weather. There are no noticable issues when braking on smooth road surfaces in wet or dry. Also there are no warning lights to indicate a fault at any time. I know pedal sink is often an indication of worn master cylinder seals and I've replaced the master cylinder to no avail. Any help with this would be well appreciated because it's doing my head in!

Hi. Thanks for sharing this video. I also have a problem with my ABS pump - everything is fine till I drive over 100 km per hour. The speedometer goes completely dead and the ABS and handbrake light comes on. What could be the problem?

If you have different size tires(bigger in the back as in the front or other way around) this might be your problem. If not your speed sensor

Check the speed sensors on each wheel (They're independent from the one on the gearbox) You can check their readings on VCDS

Not sure to believe that or not but you have to scan the car check if the new fuse blows aswell or is it ok and maybe you just have to reset the code
