I wish Jani realized how much joy he brought to people with his talent and songs --- maybe he woulda kicked alcohol and still be rockin' our asses off 😢
@gregrush19003 ай бұрын
I was drinking alcohol back then and hoping so too, and I'm still drinking alcohol and wishing he was alive. We all have our weakness. I miss that band.

You do realize they’re not really playing in this video right? Granted he was pretty solid “live” as a vocalist, but this is lip synced...

Warrant was a very underrated band back-in-the-day. Great rock and roll tunes of the time which felt so good hearing them on late night FM radio. Thank you.

I saw them in houston on the hair bands tour. It was amazing to see them live and see how really good they actually were. Jani was having a great time interacting with the audience, I walked up to the stage after a few beers and got a guitar pick from him. Was coolest shit In my life.

Sucks that this isn’t really live. These guys were killer live. Not sure why bands didn’t just say fuck you when asked to lip sync. Most of these 80’s bands were super talented and it shows in their actual live performances

I work in a TV and I think that concerts are about listening and TV is about watching. I think it's simmilar to a movie making. There is a director who says: Stop. It will be better to take Jani from this angle when he sings this...I would love to meet someone who did this pieces so he knows. I might be wrong. I dont do this so IDK, but there must be some reason.
@Gunnar.J2 жыл бұрын
Also because for most shows, it's cheaper to have the artists lip sync. Sucks, but it happens for TV shows.

R.I.P. Jani Lane!!! ( I MISS YOU ALL THE TIME !!! ) I Seen Them In Pittsburgh Probably About 3 To 5 Years B4 His Passing, And He Was Just So Down On Himself... Really Sad Actually, He Kept Apologizing To His Audience For Having To Play The Songs That Helped Make Them Become As Famous As They Did! Especially Their Ballads! You Could Tell That SOMEONE Put Something In His Head That Left Him Feeling Embarrassed Almost? Which Is So F'ed Up Because He Was AMAZING To See AND Hear Play!!! His Hair Was Short At This Point, And He Even Commented On His Having To Wear Corrective Glasses, & How He Didn't Like How They Made Him Look & Feel... But I Just Wanted To Grab Him & Shake 'em! I Just Wanted To Tell Him To Stop Putting Himself Down, And TRY To Let Him Know How BIG OF A PART HE PLAYED In So Many People's Lives, Just Like He Had In MY Life For So Many Years!!! It Really Felt Like Jani Lane Either Had Someone Close To Him Get In His Head, And Unfortunately, NOT In a Good Way Either! It's SUCH A TRAGEDY That We See Play Out Way Too Often In Highly Talented Individuals!... IMO HEAVEN JANI, "HEAVEN"... HEAVEN NDEED! ❤

I've been hunting everywhere for years to find someone that can give me that awesome early 90s long layered look. I'm the perfect Jani Lane blonde but it seems that skill is gone. Every hairstyle on men and women now feels edgeless. I guess when that lifestyle was as powerful is it was for so many of us who wants to put it away. I mean I'm the same age as Jani would be now bless his heart but can't let it go and no I don't walk around in skin-tight spandex lol but I still wear button fly 501s and riding boots with concert tees. I so hope that there's a place where we all will be together again everyone having left our own personal demons behind and Jani's waiting to get the party started and keep it going the way it was always meant to be, forever.

Is this the band who wrote a song about a "Cherry pie"?
@jovi37644 жыл бұрын
He hated the " Cherie pie" song.. Producers made him do it... " uncle Tom's cabin" was the song he wanted as his album name and to b the " big hit"... But last min producer made him right a " pop song" and they turned his wanted legacy of rock into bubble gum pop instead w cherry pie... Cherry Pie Guy is what many remember him as and what Janie hated... So in honor of him I always remember his favorite song "Uncle Tom's Cabin" n memory of him and one of his favorite songs he wrote

These Tv shows are cheap & nasty. Artists are often forced or encouraged to mime along to a play back track.
