Jani Lane was one of the most talented singers/songwriters of the 80's. Warrant created some of the most amazing and magical music out there. This song is just one example of that magic.

@@edgarbritz1663 I'm 63 and have never seen anyone close.. a lot might disagree with us but they have their own agendas. Something that I always found amazing with him was his energy was the same from the second he walked on the stage to the very end. If you wasn't sweaty I would have thought his last number was his first. This was a group of shows done in Tokyo is well and I think they may have done three or four shows and I've seen bits from each show and the energy was always Epic.

Jani's vocals on this are un- freaking- believable!!! The range is insane and and he just sings the crap out of this like it's nothing. So sad that he didn't get the credit he deserved as a vocalist and songwriter. I've seen a ton of these types of bands live, and most of these frontmen cannot come close to what Jani could do on the microphone (and certainly not as songwriters!!) This guy was the real deal. Your vocals rock Jani- RIP and thanks for such great music that I still love today!
@stefannita34395 жыл бұрын
it's actually crazy. I'm listening to this song for the first time in probably around 2 years and I'm just realizing how high the vocals actually are. and he's fucking nailing it live, even the short super high melodic notes ("don't waste your TIME now", "and I'd never known the DIFference"). he was so incredibly skilled back then
@FerusZaz4 жыл бұрын
@@stefannita3439 I totally agree, Warrant was one of the top dogs live and Jani fucking KILLED it everytime. It's bittersweet to see how exhausted he looks here though, I have to say. He looks worn out. Life on the road was hard on him.
