I'm always floored by Warren's sheer musicality, as a solo musician. He's my #1, for this Century...no question.

It’s great to hear such a powerful song, with no gimmicks and no roomful of guitar pedals and delays. Just a real simple setup plugged into a amp . Great job 👏

I'd even buy a Warren album doing spoken word and playing the triangle

🤔 IDK why there aren’t more views, and esp comments on THIS Haynes solo, ‘simplified’ studio version of the song. I’m 70ish and imo feel he’s always been an extremely talented 🎸ist AND 🎤ist - regardless of what and with whom he plays, such as his many duets with others. Within this past week, I’ve seen videos of Haynes performing this same song - each being very different. Before then, I thought Joe Bonamassa’s rendition was great, but now I’m leaning towards Warren’s 👏 interpretations as being even better (though I do 💖 and have great admiration for Joe, beginning many years ago for the same reasons as Haynes)!
