Newmarket is a town where the history and traditions are larger than life I was lucky enough to live there for some eight years and learned a lot from my grandfather who was head man to a champion trainer He loved every horse but never had a bet on one during his lifetime Newmarket is very special to me and I urge anyone interested in racehorses and the legendary past to pay a visit and stay a few nights to absorb the unique atmosphere

Newmarket is such a brilliant place, just love it! Been around lots of open days when trainers open up their yards so very interesting, the horseracing museum is a fantastic place & so much info to take in. And the races are a real treat, over time myself & my late dad were quite regulars to the races at Newmarket, whether you are on the july course or the rowley course you are sure of a great day, cant wait to come again to Newmarket & book some of the great tours on offer.❤🏇🏇🏇🏇

Can members of the public walk around warren hill or is there tours etc available??
@discovernewmarket22953 жыл бұрын
Members of the public can stand at the roadside to watch the horses exercise but Discover Newmarket are able to offer guided tours onto the Gallops. We run a series of experiences from an Early Riser Gallops Tour or a half day or full day package. Please visit our website for more details: www.discovernewmarket.co.uk/tours or call us on 01638 501122. Many thanks

You can walk alongside the gallops as the Moulton Road cuts right through the Warren Hill gallops but it is vital to stand clear as horses can be quite volatile During the afternoons it is the best time to walk around as nearly all training is done in the morning
