You talk about a teenager excited to play this in his ride...ah, man!!! That deep low bassline that hits the ground and when you ride was airtight making the quality sound better. I remember turning speakers in a certain direction of the trunk to reflect the sound better. I was experimenting with the sound quality. To put it short...this was a must in my ride back then. 😎🎵🎶😄😀

Listening to music like this reminds me of how great of an era the 90’s & the early 2000’s truly were! Every genre of music was at its pinnacle. There will never be music like this ever again. You can hear the art coming out of those speakers so well.. nowadays this generation is to worried about a check that they almost lost sight of the true magic that makes music what it’s suppose to be. I hope they find its roots once again. Until then..

I remember it being 33 minutes, but you might be right. Nevertheless, one of the reasons it is a masterpiece is because it is short but sweet, not convoluted. Every track was at least a B, like The Fugee’s The Score, Dr. Dre’s the Chronic, Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle, and Nas’ Illmatic.

As a guy that lives in Finland and came last week back from Cali, maaan i just wanna go back there.. i mean i remember just laying back watching the sunset in Venice beach ’bout to spark up a blunt with this song playing was easily the best moment in my whole life. This song just reminds me too much of the time i had back in L.A, San Diego and Vegas. After the whole trip i’ve made a promise that within 4-5 years i’ll be residing in California doesn’t even matter where. living in Finland is depressing, i mean literally everyone here is unsocial and the whole country itself is fucked up and negative in every way. For me California felt more like a home than my actual home does. Wish i can just live there and start my life all over again. Warren G is a genius and gives you the whole California vibes when his songs play.

I'm from NY, but when I visited LA just 2 1/2 weeks ago, I loved it! In fact, I loved it so much, I extended my stay and stood for 11 days. Can't argue with constant sunshine, and an urban environment while still having a mountainous scenery. I never felt smothered, unlike in NY which is always dark, gloomy and cramped. My goal is moving out there when I save 30gs. I'll still be repping the NY, but damn! LA was fun

Man I remember being in my 4th week of basic training and not having heard any kind of music other than boot amp chants. Our drill instructor sent me to deliver some mail to another company that happened to be in their final week of basic. I get to their barracks and they're in there having a pizza party and this is the song they were blasting loud as hell! It made me happy and lifted my spirits. This was back in 94.

+Osama Al Harbi Ive said this for years. He's underrated and under appreciated. DeathRow including his step bro Dre pretty much excluded him from the crew after all his contributions to The Chronic album and other projects, so he signed with Def Jam and made it on his own. No help from Dre or his boy Snoop. Go check out his wikipedia page and marvel at how much under the radar he is. You tube artists have more info on their wikipedia page than his.
