One piece shell, only adjustment you have is the size you purchase and the BOA feature (better 360 fit inside)

Is this similar to the old Easton S19/E700 that had a one piece design? For someone who likes that helmet, what would you are the advantages over that line?

Someone on Modsquad picked up one of the Alpha Helmets after being a dedicated E700 user and said it was still significantly heavier, but the vast majority of helmets out will be heavier. The new Boa adjustment system is super killer on the new Alphas though. Chase at IW Hockey
