Do you use the slide plate? Thoughts on it?

I’ve tried them before. My thoughts are they are good for either very young goalies that don’t have the strength or technique yet to properly slide, or they are good for extremely advanced goalies that have good enough edge work where they can benefit from the sliding ability but remain in position (without over sliding). I think for the far far majority of goalies they aren’t beneficial.

@@CG_Goalie 100% slide plates really do help people at the lower or upper end of the spectrum. Sliding without them is extremely good anyways and I'm not ready to relearn all of my muscle memory for a slight improvement.
