I’ve always admired Steve Kerr as a basketball player and he seemed to be a genuine & decent person. But, I didn’t know his family history until watching the Michael Jordan documentary, The Last Dance. Truly a devastating tragedy for his family and him, especially at that time in his life. 😔 Something so devastating could have derailed the rest of his life but he poured himself into something that both he and his father loved - basketball - and it got him thru the most painful time in his life. I think his father would be proud of the career & success his son has had. ❤️🏀

I actually enjoyed this documentary on Kerr. It’s crazy how much he’s been through with tragedy. Some people go the complete opposite way when it occurs but he took it in stride and is now going to be probably one of he most successful NBA coaches.

@@calcio23 your comment is complete nonsense. You do not seem to know what an ingrate is, or what their characteristics are. Ingrates do the following: 1. They always complain, no matter how good they have it. 2. They are never happy for other people's success 3. They do not appreciate what other people do for them. 4. The constantly find fault with others 5. They take others for granted 6. They blame others for their problems 7. They are uncooperative and hard to work with 8. They go out of their way to make others feel LESS important 9. They carry a sense of entitlement 10. They make statements like "you owe me" 11. They act like victims I could go on and on. NONE of these thins describe Kerr. In fact, in ever one, he is the opposite. So your comment is utter bunk.

Here’s the truth that kerr really needs to know and understand!! First, one cannot ultimately cause responsible human behavior through legislation. The only way to overcome the inherent hate for each other, selfishness, hate of authority, and prejudice that all people have for each other is to turn to God. There is no power on earth which can cause the necessary change of heart to overcome “human hate”, except that which comes from The One and Only Higher Power….the God of the Bible. Though not now, but previously, this nation was a nation which focused on God, that largely worshipped and honored God by their obedient, humble, caring, and love toward God. Only when we, as in all people of this nation, recognize the Supreme Authority of God, and follow His holy son Jesus Christ, and in turn first and foremost, love and obey God, will we then have the courage and integrity to in turn really love and care for each other (Mark 12:29-31). God is the ultimate force who determines and governs human morality and conduct, and as such will in turn be the ultimate Judge of all people who ever existed. Through God there is glorious hope for a sinful people, nation, and / or world….if people have the courage, internal strength, and integrity to turn back to Him in faith, repentance, and baptism into Christ, but until each person will do so, sinful behavior toward others will be predominant. And as such, if kerr really cared about people, instead of position, money and misguided self-motives, he would be telling everyone in this country, at the top of their lungs, about God’s true message of human salvation and eternal hope.
