Everyone’s talking about Lux and Galio or Cait and Vi, but aside from those, I loved how Ezreal and Kai’sa teamed up to save each other. It really shows that Ezreal is both explorer and hero, a boy who helps people. Kai’sa is very much the same, a girl cursed by the void monsters but does her best to help other people.

As an Ezreal one trick, and a firm supporter of all things Ezreal, nah he would just abandon her if he didn’t think he would have something to gain from helping her out. He’s a pretty sympathetic character with some deep lore, but that doesn’t change the fact that he has killed in cold blood before just because he had things to gain for doing so. So maybe it’s not because Kai’sa is hot that he helped her, but he’s an opportunist for the most part, and clearly was heavily weighing his options before helping out.

It follows the trend of "take an old song and make a slower deeper version of it" that a lot of trailers have been using this year, but it doesn't have the energy of the original, the tone (and the cinematic itself, but that's another point) doesn't match the lyrics or the message... it just sounds like it's following a recipe and lacks character.

I feel like the upbeat original was great to symbolize the energy and hype that players feel when they play the game. However, this slower and somber cover represents the pain and struggles that these characters have based off the dark and intense lore of the game. They contrast so well in both music and visuals.
