We're making progress! As our economy improves, more people from abroad are choosing to settle here. To answer your question, we're not as diverse because Poland didn't have a history of colonization or exploiting other countries.

Lubię widzieć jak Warszawa się zmienia! Czasy szarych bloków, śmierdzacych wolskich zakamarków i paskudnych, smutnych nieużytków na szczęście są już historią. Pamiętam piesze wędrówki od stacji W-wa Ochota w kierunku ul. Towarowej i tamtejsze marne widokówki z przeszłości. Teraz jest tak "jakby luksiusowo" 😂. Z perspektywy osoby od ładnych kilkunastu lat żyjącej na emigracji, mogę tylko trzymać kciuki za niesprzeniewierzenie tych osiągnięć! Oby żyło się lepiej i było do czego wracać(nie tylko wspomnieniami) ! ;)

Oj nie są , to niedorzeczne że nadal samo centrum szpecą paskudne bloczyska z wielkiej płyty, tragiczny dworzec centralny czy osiedle za żelazną bramą które wygląda jak jakieś rosyjskie blokowisko

especially nice to watch people, a huge difference compared to smaller towns (Bytom, what a depressing place!). But this part of Wola is a special place in Warsaw, not everything is so shining in the city elsewhere. I have never liked Warsaw - traffic, crowds with no smile, cycling was not prioritized, but my Norwegian colleagues like it a lot, my view is biased, I know.

Miasto pieszych stojacych całymi kwadransami na czerwonym, co widac na filmie, a zielone dla pieszych jest tak krótkie że nie mozna przejsc co jest wrecz niebezpieczne, wszystko po to zeby blachosmrody mogly jezdzic bez zatrzymywania. To skandal, kiedys tego nie było. Cóż brak gospodarza w tym mieście. Kiedy osoby decydujace o tym zostaną pociągnięte do odpowiedzialnosci? To miasto za czasów tego niekompetentnego lenia staje się nie do wytrzymania

lol yeah we still think about commie years that ended 40 years ago...I wake up in the morning and cry to the pillow thinking how hard it was back then, then I weep a little bit more under my shower that's how stressed I am about those hard years...its called natural expression we do not grin to ourselves for no reason, especialy not when walking down the street lol
