That’s a cool shelter. I don’t remember staying there. I checked my data book in 1991. I never stayed there. I guess I stayed close by somewhere camped. I don’t remember many of those shelters with fireplaces in them. Good place to dry your shoes and socks out.👍👍💪🏽

So glad the gorilla glue worked! I love hiking in the snow when it's not too cold. Reminds me of a hike we did in Georgia after a snow in February 2015. We only day hike, so I can't imagine how cold you are at night. So glad to hear you're planning to be indoors when the really cold weather hits Sunday and the early part of the week.

Spent a night at Pine Swamp once. A few years later a big tree fell on it and damaged it. Looks repaired now.

Alfredo! Well the monstrosity was displayed on an earlier video. The orifice far too small. You need a pony! Tales of a broken zipper hike will long be speculated upon. Straddling logs in winter over ice might ruin a man. The Southern Wenches if the Franklin Country Kitchen await your return. Do pick at least one to take with you. And one for your injured friend. Melting snow. The Euro mess kits are much larger for that purpose. We were hauling water out too Leith when Dutton said what to do in winter when snow blocks the road. Korea. So I mentioned melting snow. Oh. Marines can be a little slow. ( Welcome to Leith) Problems with both knees and ankle requiring surgery. Sir Cat is sleeping today. The weather down in single digits for four nights. He fusses when his feet get cold. If you do slip they have prosthetic ones so not to worry.
