Don’t you read?? There isn’t a documentary series which can truly explain the personalities involved in this horrible war, and the major players remain enigmas until they’re studied. And, when people are passive and only want to watch documentaries, they begin to believe they’re experts about people and periods of history when they’re actually novices.

At 49:10 it appeared that the hand behind him had something it was trying to conceal. And it looks as if it was possible that the hand *could have* dropped a small object down into Goerings sleeve cuff. I noticed it on this newsreel when I watched it carefully years ago while thinking about how he possibly could have obtained a cyanide capsule whilst being imprisoned and so closely monitored. 🤔

Hermann Göring had style, finesse, a staunch leader in the government. Hermann Göring did all he deemed right and proper for the German citizens. Frankly, it was A.H. who caused the military mistakes that defeated Germany. Mainly, breaking the Soviet/Germany Peace Pact. The Battle of Britain. Declaring war against America. The Invasion of Russia.

@voraciousreader3341
@voraciousreader3341 Жыл бұрын
No, the film in the documentary is history, but you’re not really learning anything at all….even one of the top Nazis and his role in the war is so much more nuanced and complex that 54 minutes and 34 seconds is only the barest, most minuscule overview. It’s not even enough to be called a summary! The only way to learn history is to read some of the _excellent_ books which have been carefully researched and written about this war, but most people are too lazy to read. I wonder how many people who’ve watched WWII documentaries on KZbin have ever stepped foot in a public library as an adult to check out a book….for *FREE,* let alone buy books!!

You want the word “shutters.” “Shudders” aren’t remotely correct, unless you’re talking about Göring, and then it’s “shudders” of disgust. @Michael Simmons - So, you watch one 50 minute documentary and you’re suddenly an expert on personality and psychopathology! I hope your parents didn’t pay for your college education, when apparently all anyone needs to do is watch a few documentaries. You obviously don’t know that psychopaths are noted for their intellectual ability and utter ruthlessness, and that Göring was equally responsible for murdering millions of people as were the other top Nazis, with a hatred for Jewish people which rivaled Hitler’s. I suppose that rancid quality was also the product of greed?? The elements and origins of Göring’s greed had nothing to do with his megalomania. Read a biography about him if you really care to know what kind of person he was.
