Tips and Tricks for SPAAs

They forgot to mention acual tips for SPAAs. I'll do it: 1) don't wait for the sky to be full of planes to spawn SPAA, prevention is the best cure against cas. 2) if you are playng at top tier make sure the radar is set to the max range to detect planes at soon as they spawn, 3) if you are playng a gun based AA dont shoot a soon as the lead marker comes up, it just give away your position, whait until the plane is closer and maybe diving. 4)learn the max range of your missiles, use the radar distance and speed to fire early and make the missile reach the target at it's maximus range. 5) move the fk away from spawn!!! BONUS TIP: If you already see the target turn of the radar and switch to irst to prevet triggering the enemy RWR

we really need more top-tier SPAA though. When the spaded SU-34 is lobbing self-guided ATG weapons from 10km and immediately turning away, my ItO can't do squat. It feels like Pantsirs and FlaRakRads are the only ones who can effectively counter top-tier CAS.

Not really.The pantsir has range and burn time but the missile isnt as snappy as a VT-1.Also the EF and rafale turn so fast pantsir has no chance

tbf depends which. Paying nearly 800sp for a PE-8 with only 4x1000 bombs that are very hard to use because you cant manoeuver+if you fly low youre gonna get clipped seems balanced.

SPAA like the Pantisir can take out planes relatively easily, and also intercept incoming ordinances and act like the Iron Dome system This means that up to 900 SP could go wasted an receive just a death (1350 SP according to your 50% increase, which is half a nuke) This could easily be avoided by increasing or decreasing SP needed based off the type of the vehicle, the armament chosen, the BR and its overall gameplay A brick with bad armament, bad speed and horrible turn time in a downtier should still cost less than a plane with good armament, good speed and extreme maneuverability in an uptier

@Gaijin I have an Idea how you could implement SAM sites (S-300, Patriot, etc.) into ground battles! You spawn in with the firing platform and with you two other vehicles spawn (theyre AI like in Enlisted) But you can use the Radar like you have it on your vehicle!

So what about fixing cas instead of just adding a bunch of spaa, cas access should be a privilege for those with enough skills to earn it, not a guaranteed hop in after killing 1 tank or capping a single zone, if cas is so easy to get, then spaas should have better assistance, especially low tier spaas without radars and low firing rates.

Tip: Never use top tier SPAA in top tier battles, the current CAS meta is destroying anything above 11.7. SPAA at than BR are just CAS food. Give us better top tier SPAA!!! We really need them!!!

Hey nice video, but i have one big point that annoys me , i think aas without any guns or capability to attack ground targets should be removed or changed in a way the can do like the tunguska or the pantsir , in toptier you are forced to stay in spawn because you cant do anything against enemies, you cant even cover your team at the front , if you are winning almost no enemy aircraft shop up and you are 100% useless if the enemy wins multiple aircraft show up and especially with ir guided aa you cant do anny against su-25s or a-10 or anything with more then 20 flares, you are not able to defend anything you just die and that is really frustrating and is a big balancing factor for some nations. For example it would be better to merge the japanese type 93 into the type 87 to create something like the gepard a2 even if it never existed, at this point im more interested about the health of the game. At least give mordern spaa a shorter arty cd and more range for it so you can help your team.

As soon as you fix the missiles on SPAA's so you can actually intercept an aircraft, all they need to do is barely roll and the missiles go so far off track its impossible to hit them. They overcorrect far too much, all except the PANTSIR, probably because its Russian. The STRELA is almost useless now, the missiles most of the time miss even when they're not flaring.
