1. Fix the battleratings (uptiering/downtiering). 2. Fix flight models/damage models some aircraft take way too much of a beating sometimes 3. Get rid of bomber spamming I was thinking that bombers could be in a different category rather than being apart of the actual team this fixes teams with the whole team consisting of bombers and the enemy team consisting of all fighters 4. Fix passive behavior please oh please this is annoying: when a player goes to space and does nothing while their team is falling leaving them the last player that is just wasting everyones time 5. Sparking: I think we can all say that we have shot big guns expecting to do loads of damage but no apparently a 30mm shell just bounces straight off a plane that is just ridiculous especially when you actually hit but does NO damage and hardly changes the aircrafts flight performance 6. Moderators: Ok ok I realize profanity can be a bad thing but there is a lot of mature people out there sure I understand that you wanna keep your game as PG as possible but thats why there is CENSORING I have been chat banned a lot for just using profanity and it is really annoying when you cant communicate with other players in a realistic match Well theres everything I think is screwed up about War Thunder sorry that I am being a downer but seriously I have over 1000 hours in the game I think thats long enough for me to call out problems :P Oh yeah and Gaijin please dont just care about how much money is in your wallet care about the people that make War Thunder possible and listen to the community there is literally a vote that sees if people want the battlereating system to be changed on the forums and the results are clearly saying that the community wants you to get your crap together so PLEASE JUST LISTEN TO YOUR COMMUNITY!!! +Kyler Brown More like introduce the same Arena Effect as in the old Fighter Ace (The first REAL war thunder) and have 100 plus players in historical accurate aircraft in separate arenas. That would make more sense. That way bombers can still take off, climb and be escorted in real time instead of being the first to arrive on targets or be nailed by fighters if choosing to go rogue. Would force teamwork just like FA did..

.50 cals go BRRRRRR in this gamemode. In Realistic, tbh, Firepower doesn't really matter much, it's realistic. As long as you set it on fire, I guess you won. Tactics are more important. Like BnZ, TnZ, or Turnfighting. Damage model is more realistic. But damage is just not so important. You keep the damage permanently. Unless you land. So .50 cals? Quite devestating. Because of the shear speed they fire at. Cannons on the other hand are harder to aim with. That's why Cannons are a little harder to play with, but can take out a plane with just some firing. Just that accuracy is more important than firepower.

***** I know what they do roughly, Use high prop pitch at lower speeds and low at high speeds, so using 100% isn't the best thing to do because it creates more air resistance meaning at high speeds you will be slowing yourself down. Radiator does do something, the more open it is the more cooling it provides to the engine but at the cost of loosing speed because the flaps create drag. You increase the percentage of fuel the lower the altitude you are and lower it when you are at higher altitudes because there is less oxygen. I know these rough outlines but I would actually like specifics from Gaijin themselves.

It was said and I quote “ when taking off don’t retract your landing gear” while this may help in a fighter I learnt that hard way in a Do17 E-1, Z-2 and sometimes a Z-7, that if you don’t retract your gear as soon as you leave the ground, your speed will drop and you will crash, so to be safe, when I fly bombers in realistic, I always retract gear as early as possible.

If you ask me, retracting your landing gear ASAP is what you SHOULD do. They simply cause extra air resistance and are not helping you get away from the ground while extended. Retracting your flaps too early on the other hand, is a bad idea for just about all heavier aircraft. Where you can get away with early retraction or not deploying them at all on fighters, doing the same when in attack aircraft is going to prolong your takeoff time, and as for bombers, it's more often than not a one-way ticket back to the hangar. This is because the takeoff flaps provide extra lift at slow speeds, as mentioned late into the video. And yes, the Do 17 E-1 has a disgraceful climb rate of 1 m/s stock, so I'm guessing you definitely did find out the hard way.

Against all harsh criticism from the sometimes quiet "wild" comunity you have always aimed at improving the experience and the quality of this game on all levels. There is no other game quiet like WT with regard to richness in quality and experience. Beautiful engine, 3 (totally different) games in one, rich background and an improving customer service is what I see. A beautiful piece of living digital art. Actually very few indeed are able to fully savour the depth of the physics engine, flavour the ballistics and ammo diversity. Just checking out the war thunder live forum is an awsome experience with lots of laughs and some incredibly good contributions, skins, videos, background etc etc. Thank you so much and keep this good stuff up - all power to you! You can see how flaps work differend on some aircraft. When i try to land with my F6F with landig flaps, its fine. If i try to land with a B-25 or P-38 with landing flaps and it loses control.

Most americas need to "side climb" in order to reach high altitudes where perform better (ace a p-47 and watch how it performs above 4000m), and also most tier 3-4 American planes are better climbing at 15 degrees (exept for the p-63, bearcats and tigercats), dont try to go straight to the battle or you will found yourself, outnumbered and outmatched by higher alt germans

+Filip Petrović you dont side climb enough, for example, if you are in Sicily, in a p-47, you need to side climb heading to h5 (turn left when you take off) and dont go to the battle until you have reached 5500m at least, I fell good turning into battle when I reached 6200 meters, and for counter them, you need to bleed their energy, make them slow, then strike them, if you are In a p-63 or p-51D (Dk about the cannon one) you can turnfight bf 109 (the ones without the pods are more maneuverable), but if you are in a p-47 you need to Bnz them but if they dive, leave them, or you will waste all that your plane need, if they are at your alt and you are like above 6000, you can out run them easy, the Fw maybe can catch you but idk, and most important: NEVER HEAD-ON THEM their 20mm cannons with the minensgecho ammo is far much better than your 50 cals or the 20mm canons of the F4U-1c

pieterjan willems I play on PS4 too, but there is a way to fix it. You just need to get a USB keyboard and mouse to plug in to the ports. And then you use the controls setup wizard to change your controls to keyboard. All you need is to have your controller connected and it will work! I've gotten much better because of it!

I need a tutorial on how to fly a bomber seriously it's so hard.to gain altitude when you have bombs and the speed is also slow need help

Tutorial on realistic bombers- don't fly them... There are around 2 bombers worth using in the entire game, Unless you have 4 frienda and all 5 of you fly formation

Guys my main problem in RB is that my pilot always gets knocked out. Is there a way to make them stronger so they don't die immediately.
