6thmonkey You can play it with DFend Reloaded (an emulator that makes it possible to run the game under the newer OS) or with a Virtual Machine.

Eaggradruide What? I thought D-Fend Reloaded is just a DOSBox frontend (which wouldn't help with War Wind 1 or 2 since those are Windows applications).

fotakatos Your right it didn't actually help, if you have any suggestions it would be great. It would still be cool to play it :)

6thmonkey I didn't get my original version to run so admittedly I got some version from TPB which is bundled with War Wind 1. That pack has an installer that works with Windows 7 and the games themselves also work fine excluding the occasional crash in WW1. The executables were last modified in 2013 so I guess the dude who uploaded and is still seeding the pack fixed them somehow.

When Warcraft 2 was released, RTS games were pretty popular. There were quite a few similar games that launched around that same time Warcraft 2 released. This is one of those forgotten games.
