The CDL is the more competitive format as it has significantly less uncontrollable variables (no third parties, no OP pick ups, no advantageous zone pulls, etc.) and therefore, it would be the most accurate way to compare WZ & CDL players. It's possible that some WZ players could hang with the pros but until they actually compete in the CDL, it's just speculation.

Only very few warzone players are talented enough to compete in the league. 90% of CDL players could find success in warzone. At the end of the day talent isn’t the issue, the discussion should be which is easier. WZ is an easier competitive game.

if Diaz put 1-2 years of straight GRINDING comp/challengers he would definitely make the league. is he gonna be on Simp/Abezy level? maybe not, but he is 100% talented enough to make it in. hes probably the only player that has a real chance out of the Warzone scene (that wasnt already in the league).
