Personally, I think Tidal Wave was the final 2.1 top 1 because it’s a rate worthy level that got entirely made & beaten in 2.1, even if it didn’t get rated until 5 months later after 2.2 came out. It’s not like some unrateable challenge like VSC or Cobwebs that most likely won’t ever get rated.

Im saying tidal wave. A 2.1 level is defined as any level made using 2.1 features, making it a 2.1 level. I think, using those grounds, we can consider it the hardest (currently verified) 2.1 level. Basically, levels like silent clubstep arent considered to be 2.1 levels just because they were verified in 2.1. This gives ground for grief or Apoc Tril to be some of the final 2.1 top 1's, or maybe some random impossible level thats eventually verified

IMO pointercrate doesnt define anything, it shows what is already defined, if you know what I mean Pointercrate is just showing the hardest levels in the game, and a level shouldnt be disconsidered just because it wasnt added to pointercrate. The level is published and it was verified legitimately, so it is the hardest achievement in the game undenieably. Also, the rate standards are rigged as hell. Idc about if its rated or not, they dont affect the level in any way shape or form. In conclusion, IMO Tidal Wave was the last 2.1 top 1

I think there are valid arguments for both Acheron and Avernus being the hardest demon of 2.1, but I think that Avernus was the hardest demon at the end of 2.1 simply because it was at the top of the list at the end of 2.1, as well as the fact that there is a chance that they will be swapped back and Avernus will be harder than Acheron. However, key word hardest demon, as Tidal Wave could not be a demon if it wasn't rated, but it was still the top as it was the hardest full length level verified at the end of 2.1. Team Tidal Wave.

havent watched vid yet, just from desc i will say that in my opinion tidal wave was hardest since verification since it was verified in 2.1 and acknowledged to be the hardest verified level by the community. edit: ive watched a little more of the video, and im at the point where he mentions the fact that tidal wave was technically the hardest verified level in 2.1, but wasnt verified until 2.2. I would say that tidal wave was definitely last 2.1 top one, unless the level is not long enough to be rated, such as vsc.
