Cementoss has been getting small buffs the last couple patches in My Hero Ultra Rumble and as a result is sneakily turning into a monster. Today I decided to run some matches with him and see just what power he’s hiding. Enjoy!

From what I've seen the way cementoss players thirst quickly is by throw rocks at the enemy and continuously jumping on them to chase where they land. So you start on your own platform and jump throw an alpha at the downed enemy and land on the rock. Just over and over. Its not the fastest way to thirst but very few characters can stop that from happening

Cementoss has been my main since season 1. I think hes perfect right now. I always felt it was odd that a big stone skinned adult had less health than some scrawny teenagers. I remember when his beta quirk didn't even work half the time. Finally we get some love!

I love Cementoss even before the buff He's just so insanely fun to use and maneuver the map with plus how can you not love his goofy ass run. Also you can combo his Alphas together. If you knock someone into the air try to predict where theyre going to land and chuck another they'll just keep taking damage and getting knocked up. You can also use his beta and still connect with the ground below you from 1 full pillar in height from what ive experienced while playing as him so if im getting jumped Ill pillar once then use my wall to try and knock people back and cause high damage to those who weren't hit with initial pillar

I feel like it’d vary based on character. But in terms of higher k.0 focusing easy targets for your character and recognizing when someone is trying to disengage most likely cause their low hp is pretty important

I tend to run towards/into buildings and alleys cause rapids have a tough time with close quarters areas while also maneuvering and with you changing the terrain it just makes you that much harder to connect with. It's not perfect but it's been my best counter so far especially with that damn Beta tracking on lida

I've literally thought Cementoss was at least top 5 and a contender for best in the entire game since season 1 day 1 of this game. He's just not only one of the highest skill characters so not many people can show off how good he actually is, he's also by far the weirdest, he's not even playing the same game the rest of us are lol you need a completely different set of skills than playing anyone else it's not like "Oh I'm a great bakugo so I can also play deku or all might pretty much just as well" like you have to just be a Cementoss only main. So I have literally no idea why they KEEP buffing him when he's already disgusting. I think the main reason no one noticed how broken he is until now is because like you said repeatedly his ONE weakness is he can't finish all the people he kills funnily enough. I have seen some cementoss crazy enough to fortnite edit a whole building around your body mid battle and do a whole finisher while the teammates can't stop it but that's really all he can do. So like the main idea is obviously "well if he's on a coordinated team with players he has literally zero flaws. He's an insane solo carry as you saw game 1, he's THE best disrupter in the game: combo stopping, preventing thirsts, walling off safe areas, protecting your team while they pop team heals, separating enemies to pick off one by one. He's also got ONE of the top abilities to stay alive and defend himself even in a 1v3 with his building, I'm not quite sure if hes best since there's like all mights and togas who can leave to another continent instantly but he's certainly top 5. He has crazy combos, crazy damage, and he's even ultra valued as one of the three insta res characters on top of that. Even with all this though, because for the first like entire season and a half because of his ONE flaw not being able to finished downed opponents, NO ONE would play him because you ONLY got scored for finishing downed opponents. You could knock 10 players, do great damage, win the match, and go down 1000 points because you didn't get anything for winning or any of your kills because someone else got the last hit on all of them. On top of that, back then his only bad (almost auto loss) matchup was bakugo who was by far the best and most played character in the game season 1 and he just nullified most of your options. Now season 3 though, bakugo is not only way worse than he used to be but he's also super nerfed in the cementoss specific matchup at his damage through structures, now you get 800 points for winning so as debatably the most consistent character in the game he can finally rank up, you actually get credit for your knocks not your kills so he can REALLY rank up, and you even get assist points. I think with this alone and zero buffs Cementoss would have started becoming one of the top 5 in the game easily, but now on top of that they also randomly buffed him like 3 times so he's a menace.

Yeah the high damaging combos, insta rezz, walking off areas, hell even if the insta rezz is on cooldown he can tower up with a downed teammate and just revive them from above, this rocks got a lot going for him but I guess because the pick rate is on the lower end the devs keep making him more and more of a monster 😆

It's kinda like one of those things where no one that likes the show gets on and goes "ah my favorite character cementoss" and picks him as their main. He's gonna be a character only people who are either competitive or he fits the playstyle they wanted go for really. So I don't think they should worry about play rate lol

Kiri had an extra bullet since release, better nerf it! You know, the ability with a massive gigantic flag that tells everyone hes gonna punch hard. Meanwhile Cementoss has instant res, can crank 3x alphas at the floor and have 5 left. EACH one of them can deal over 100 damage from MASSIVE range. Yeah sure, he "needed" it lol HOOLLLY look at that snipe on todo at 16:50. Yellow deku can crounch snipe shot and it still wont do as much damage as this, while spending ALL their bullets on it.

With Compress I feel you, I'd say he's also hard to use relatively speaking. But he's still a good character arguably A tier. Compress, Cementoss, Kendo, Aizawa, Dabi, Mt lady right now, are all good characters that should NOT be nerfed.

Cementoss also has extra health. Why does every Support except for compress have a ton of health? Even momo has more health and all her moves deal over 100 dmg. Ibara is fair because she's stationary but Cementoss has insane vertical mobility and great damage.
