They released cs2 because csgo ran on source engine, and that engine could not run any updates amymore, so they had to move it to source 2. Another thing is How they did it.

Yes. I prefer the better fps I got, as well as the way the game played. The movement felt loads better, the brighter atmosphere doesn't feel genuine, it feels like they put a shader over the maps. It doesn't feel like CS, it feels like somebody put a shader on it and made the game run worse. (have an RTX 3060 TI.)

When CS2 launched,I liked the way it felt(maybe cause it was something new?). But the longer its out, the less I like it. The movement and aiming feels so much better in CS:GO, in CS2 it feels like spraying consistently is impossible unless you put a LOT of hours into this game and I can't hit anything anymore. It also feels like everyone is playing at 244hz and I have no chance to react with my 60hz. Visbility is unbelievably awful in CS2. What I like about CS2 is that the game looks really good and that they added this pool to arms race(the only arms race map that is fun). And the premier mm is a nice idea.
