as Obama once said, the UK would be at the back of the queue and starting from scratch which means no opt out clause regarding the monetary union and many other perks the UK previously enjoyed. The only thing that could work for the UK is the reversal of brexit, and since that won't happen re-joining would sadly almost be an exercise in absurdity. The EU will never give the UK what it once had. So we're screwed. 4:37 -- old.... ignorant and ill educated. Every short sentence was simply gibberish. 6:01 -- by comparison, she is very smart and absolutely right. 8:50 -- no. It was only a non binding referendum which was forced through by sophisticated manipulation by the people who hired Cambridge Analytica to implement the manipulative apps which fooled the regular smartphone user folk arranged and paid for by the corrupt lairs who implemented that (who should be rounded up and sentenced to at least 100 years each). 10:20 -- Has a brain that works.

The question is not whether the British want to join the EU again, but whether the EU wants the British back and if so, under what conditions.

As a EU citizen, I think Brexit didn't just end the UK's 'membership' in the EU. I think it also destroyed a lot of trust in the UK as a reliable partner. Not so much because the UK left the EU, but because of the way the UK behaved during the negotiations before and after Brexit and because of the fact the UK didn't stick to all the agreements it made with the EU after Brexit. In the long run, I think the EU would probably be open for the UK to join. But I don't see this happening in the near future. The UK would need to proof that it is a reliable partner first. I also think the major political parties in the UK would all have to support this, not just the current government. Otherwise, the risk is too high that after the next election, the UK wants to leave again.

@@Flo-vn9ty I think we (EU) are better off without them. They are cherrypickers for excemptions and are not supporting unification. New member states in the EU are thinking much more european than these islanders. They have their Commonwealth, why "dance on two weddings". ??
