What's crazy is Dustin and Dusty lost a Royal Rumble match to Ted DiBiase and Virgil. Dustin has feuded against Larry Zbyszko. He's tagged with Steamboat and Barry Wyndham (Bray Wyatt's uncle and namesake). He's feuded with Arn. He won his first title from Steamboat... If anything, it's crazy that he was already probably 8 years or so into his career when he wrestled Piper, and he can still can go.

At this point, I don't think there's anyone in the business that truly deserves a world title run of ANY length more than Dustin. The man's put in so much work and paid at least 3 or 4 average careers' worth of dues. Dustin is easily one of the best you can find anywhere. While he isnt as fast as he used to, he has Proven to have as much if not more skill, experience and awareness as anyone wrestling today. He is the guy you can put a title on and be believable or have a high program feud with a talented up and comer and put him over in a night. Hats off to him.

I don't know if the ending was an unplanned botch (jumping over a 6ft4 guy is though even for an athlete like Claudio), but I did not mind it actually: to be honest, more matches ending out of the blue following just strong signature moves (the uppercut in this case) would help create more unpredictability in the flow of the fights.
