They should have added an ability to armour break on the S2 when he counters, make it similar to Hate, where he has to crit. He's an alchemist who can control the properties of chemicals, it only makes sense that he can break armour.

Maybe he needs Rage and pen on Timeless anchor or seed, or to be cheeky Jack-Os RAGE artifact? Or counter build so he barrier protects himself especially if he lands provoke.

10:58 diene had nothing to do with it she will always cleanse first two debuffs with her S2, the stun previously and bomb this time were 3rd debuff so they didn't get cleansed

I think he's better with speed pen set, to be fast for his s2 to proc more, s3 that stack damage, with à healer next to him. I think he can really be a beast.

In terms of stat, Aravi, Alencia and Choux have 7k base HP while Ed's 6.2k hp. Aravi also gets a free 30% crit chance while Ed gets 16.8% crit chance from max imprint and that's very expensive. He is fast though with 117 base speed while Aravi and Alencia are base 106 (Choux is 102). I was thinking using Durandal on him until i couldn't get his stats right so I went with Azure Comet. I haven't tried Warhorn because I can't seem to get him any faster than 210.

Yeah, I think he's a bit tough to build because of that base Hp Stat.

I think if they publish new artifact for warrior that gives % of stun it will be insane on him. That way we only need to build him with speed and hp to tank the damage. It makes more sense why they design his skill set like that.

I put him on a destruction crit and his damage is actually pretty decent. He's really fun to play and is good against de buffers, although I do pair him with Doris or Emilia for him to stay in the fight more.

Yeah, I think he has several viable builds but he does rely on his team to be able to pull it off. Which I guess is a good thing.

2:24 was luck really involved there about cleansing? I always thought the cleanser will cleanse the 1st two debuffs like diene. same how aol will cleanse the left most debuff from peira? and same how rimuru copies the 1st two buffs lined up.

You're right, with its the same with cleansing, rimuru copy and dispell buffs, it's not RNG on which one gets removed/copied

Best I can defend stir here is that the debuff tiles shuffle everytime anyone takes a turn, so with any luck, stuns would have shuffled in front and get cleansed. But he could have seen that stun would not have been cleansed when diene took a turn since it’s in the back.

I gave up on his damage and just made him spd/eff/hp on injury set. His counter debuff CAN win you a fight, so I think he's decent. Risa though...

I definitely did not like lifesteal on my ed. The stat requirements for him are too high and lifesteal doesn't add much. I run destruction set with 320 cdmg and 21.5k HP, works great, i love him!

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the Lifesteal set, I don't think he really does enough damage for it to be worth it.

Ironically enough I think Seed might help him out. The difference between cleansing one debuff per turn and 2 debuffs is massive and his S3 let's him cycle. It's a shame because his own artifact is really good, but that may be a better BiS for Choux or Alencia. Ed won't get full stacks with it unless the meta slows back down to the golden boy days.

Seed could work well if you build him to be a disrupter rather than DPS. Or even Anchor if you make him super slow.

New fire units just wont ever shine in terms of meta use when you have the undefeated Hwayoung on top of the list. Shes not a limited unit but you can bet your moneys worth ppl will imprint her b/c shes that much of a powercreep unit even without imprints. Ed and assuming Roy are just overhyped b/c they are a new anime collab which arent even that great compared to Slime units. Hell Dien is more favorable over them, so if you have the bkms just grab 1 of each and dip and try to get the artifacts from the powder shop instead.

they just need to take away the cooldown on his s2. problem solved. Right now CZerato is embrassed that Edward is even being compared to him. Edward is just bad. Only other thing they could do to help him is make him Earth. especially since Roy is fire and that makes perfect sense. why two fire units back to back? when has fire units ever lasted in any meta? honestly they did a disservice to FullMetal Alchemist fans. I was super stoked for this collab and im just over it, already. Hopefully Roy is better. I really hope so.

Yeah, his base stats are actually really good but the HP is just low for an HP Scaling hero. Because his Atk isn't too horrible and he has great speed.
