I know what you mean. I personally like that the sprinting and running animations are now more cohesive this chapter. In CH 5, we still had the OG sprint animation, with the new sluggish running animation, which was super jarring to me. But the OG movement animations will always be peak, and I really hope they bring it to the OG mode 💪🙏!

Klarque, we are getting reskins of old battle pass skins as the OG pass, BUT, as a someone with the strong opinion that old BPs should come back, Epic did a fantastic job on these 3 reskins and I honestly would rather use these than the old ones. However, I’m not sure Epic would handle this well into the future. If Epic doesn’t do what they did with the 3 reskins of old skins to other Battle Pass skins, they will still receive backlash. Epic even something as small as making the gender of a skin different could still upset the community, so I’m really hoping Epic doesn’t screw this up. If Epic doesn’t reskin EVERY old battle pass skin then people will complain like they have been. Skins like AIM, The Ice King, The Visitor, etc aren’t very popular skins and may not get the same treatment as these more popular skins in the Battle Pass which sucks because the main reason I wanted old passes back were because of these less popular skins with no reskins. Even more popular skins that have gotten tons of reskin should still get them. Peely should get a reskin where he doesn’t have the reactivity or is perhaps a little bit more textured so it still keeps the same spirit but makes it a good enough replacement where new players can get the same experience. A Bunker Jones reskin, a reskin of a reskin, should happen because he was still an iconic part of season 9, even if he wasn’t as popular as something like the Singularity. I didn’t like your original proposal because it felt like Epic would make these skins too different, but these 3 reskins in the OG pass give me hope that Epic has heard everyone on this issue. Now let’s just hope Epic makes every skin get a reskin!

@dogenoodle I finally won one with my duo partner, but it hasn't gotten any easier. Took 25 matches to win one. Everyone has insane aim rn and tons of good builders and editors. My overall win rate all-time is 14% which is actually top 3.6% of all players, but this season I'm at less than 4% win rate.

3 major negatives 1. the boss with the oni mask is way too hard to beat 2. the pump is too inconsistent, and the other 2 take too long to reload 3. augments got replaced with a feature thats 10x worse

Got to have a scope weapon like the mods were great in ch 5 for that. I loved going solo to the island to change my gun mode it was challenging but now everybody has 1000x 100% accuracy and fries you before you see them. The hitscan is waaaaay overpowered.... nobody aims anymore. Its basically auto hit. Pros and people can barely play without using all of their builds and heals just to look around the map. Ch 5 was more manageable to have even fights.

The Bosses health is increased per mode you play. In solo, their health is pretty neat to fight against. About 75 Pistol Bullets, and the Yokai are down.

Honestly the new chapter is fine, nothing special. Hit scan on scoped weapons was a mistake. Projectile bullets should be on anything with an optic, because if not players will be getting lazered. The problem with projectile bullets in chapter 5 was that it was also on unscoped weapons. Hit scan should only be on unscoped weapons. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I may be a minority here, but I genuinely don’t like this season. Played for 2 hours today and the most annoying thing about it is the gunplay. Too little guns in the loot pool and too weak guns, imo. The sword destroyed me in almost every game I played and I haven’t found a way to counter it. I decided to play reload and enjoyed it a hell of a lot more. I think the movement feels a bit clunky at the moment too, why when I’m sprinting and go off a ledge do I assassins creed jump and get stuck in an animation for what feels like forever. The wall jump messed me up in a couple games too. Maybe I don’t like the changes, this is coming from someone who has played consistent since chapter 1 season 1. I’m waiting for OG as my interest in the game is the lowest it’s been in ages. Coming from someone who enjoyed the change of pace from the standard gameplay loop in C2S6.
