I know that BHVR was trying to not do as many events, but they did the Lunar New Year event for years. And I'm not saying they needed to do a full event but given that each Lunar New Year is themed to a different animal. You would think that hey maybe more than one cosmetic per year? Snake is a cool theme why only one cosmetic?

Even as a haddie main, i dont so much care about she was in the banner art im just more confused why it was only ONE skin for the lunar new year. Going from the lunar new year being an annual event that we enjoyed every year, to just "heres a single one skin" idk feels just.... Bad...

I wonder if this was going to be a code to unlock a single cosmetic piece. Like either red hair, or recolor of one of her jackets to red/gold. Like the old free cosmetics they used to give out around this time. But as someone with a P100 Haddie I don't get my hopes up too often that we'll get much haha. At least we did good on the community rewards.

It seems like a miss imo given The Skull Merchant has a lunge strike animation for her blade, that her outfit didn’t have a snake like weapon instead of another general blade. Sure it’s nice but it could have been released for any time of year. One new outfit for the lunar new year this year is underwhelming.

On the subject of the community event... I want even aware this was going on. My friend was trying to say something about it but i wasn't sure because I insisted I hadn't seen anything in-game other than the cosmetics that anything was going on. So when you flashed up that community bar, it made more sense! Only... I don't have other of those unlocked on my profile. I never got an in-game mail song to claim them, unless it'd through the BVHR account...? Which should be set up...? But I also never got my game stats even though I'm on the newsletter too...

Huh. I‘m a Haddie main and I‘m surprised she was supposed to get something, her last skin wasn’t that long and she normally doesn’t get that much in such a short time. But it would make sense, she’s the only Asian character I believe that hasn’t gotten a Lunar New Year outfit yet. I‘m not mad though, it’s fine. They had their reasons why it was scrapped. They released soooo many great cosmetics recently, maybe they couldn’t finish it. Edit: I just changed my game to German (I am German but I always played in English) and now it says the same, skullmerchant and Haddie Kaur. I am on a pc though, not on console, so it’s definitely a language thing.

There is a mystery for me that there is no official reason why the event was removed, i mean since almost year 1 there was already a lunar new year event and they honestly wasted a bunch of opportunity with ideas since: Lurking Stripes not a big fan of Yui's cosmetic and event was almost pieces of already existing recolors Moonlight Burrow was only survivors skins and not any of killer Year of the dragon was totally a waste, Yun could have something better and i was waiting a Dredge with dragon theme Now only Skully that is actually the best skin of this thematic but i don't fine any snake related, Spirit with the tome one fits more honestly
