EDIT: At the time of the decision I thought I had lost the fight two rounds to one, I'm not sure how a draw was decided. I would speculate the judges weighed the damage to the leg very heavily because he was constantly switching stances and at the end of round 3 hopping on one leg. But that's not really how round by round scoring works.

When I see Gash fight, I tend to think Gash's weakness tends to be movement more than striking. They all land some and miss some, but if you're not ducking and weaving you're just eating a lot of hits. It didn't seem to me that Samaritan had unusual accuracy so much as Gash would just stand there and eat 4 or 5 punches while trying to counter punch but not moving around.
@supremoluminary

I have watched all of Gashes fights so far. Improving a lot since the first go.. but I think the main problem is there is no knockout power behind her punches or kicks. Landing a lot, and even some that look like rockers.. but if you watch her opponents they hardly seem phased even by those big shots. In this fight she gets a nice head kick on Samaritan and even knocks out his mouth piece but he doesn't even stop smiling or seem phased by it. I will say this though.. Gash can take some hits, seems to have a strong chin.. if she can only improve her power somehow she would likely start winning more of her matches. Hopefully she sticks with it.

Samaritan is a cool dude. Even when he had a kick to head he went to high five Gash. At the final even tho he is ripped of the win he hugged Gash and said "We won", you don't see that thing happen. He sure made his mother proud. RIP to her my dude. Also RIP to Gash's dog, i'm sure he/she was a good boy. I love Gash but Samaritan clearly won this fight.

I can honestly say that I was impressed by both fighters. Take Samaritan for a haircut, get him into the gym and work on his technique!! He has real potential, it just needs to be refined. If he puts real time into his posture and footwork, works on his conditioning and polishes his technique he’d be a whole new fighter because he clearly already has numerous positive attributes.

Gash you've made some great improvements, I remember how u were before. At this point you should really be focusing on conditioning and your boxing, u should do 3 - 2 minute intervals of shadow boxing constants ( shadow boxing with 3 pounder weights, constant punching while trying to keeping guard to chin) when I first started this it killed my arms but the result is you being able to punch in bunches and keep ur guard up without tiring as much, u don't need big equipment to build real cardio. Give it a try. Your boxing is the foundation,you have to setup kicks with hands. You need more combos and more illusive head movement, find a tree and shadowbox off of it and the tree is the center line, move off line when you punch and after your done, the biggest tip is never bring your head forward, always move back or left to right with head movement, head movement is a must. You should add mountian climbers, high knees, some light jogging halfway sprints, jump squats if u can manager, touch that off with jump rope and a few jump squats/burpees you will have enough explosiveness for days. Just my opinion but I really think you would see a huge improvement in your kicks and just general movement if you focus on your boxing, adding one of any of the things I mentioned will help. I started off slowly and began incorporating each of these as I learned, these are all things I do and helped me climb that cardio gap.

WELL DONE to both fighters. Samaritan's excitement of them both winning put me in a better mood and probably made his momma proud (may she rest in peace). Great sportsmanship on both parts and props to Gash who has clearly been training hard since her first fights, most improved for sure. Gash gave a shout out to her puppy, and that's probably the most wholesome shout out ever. Yay Roosevelt!

A draw? :O I got tired watching him punch Gash in the face. I was a judge for the Don "the Dragon" Wilson v Jean-Yves Thériault fight in Quebec Ca in 1984, so I've seen a lot of fights and judged some of the greatest fighters. But I have to say - that wasn't a draw by a mile. Congrats to Gash for admitting that and to the winner for accepting it. But politics has no place in contests like these, because it undermines the sport and the athletes. I know these aren't pros, but at least call it honestly please.

People so triggered about the draw, this is Streetbeefs Scrapyard, just take it as an exhibition fight, one was fighting for his mother and the other for her dog, a winner/loser isnt mandatory, both fighters looks happy at the end , even one claims "we both win" so if he is not complaining , why should you do it?
