I have watched more than one game where misplays happen and I don't feel like watching the rest of the video because it irks me so much.

The point of the game is to have fun, not be perfect, if it was really that important one of the other people at the table probably would've called it out.

If you can make it to where ALL creatures have to block the mole and give it indestructible. It's best to stack all of the combat damage on one blocker. Making a lot more extra combat triggers and making your other creatures unblockable on that player.

Just realized, during the turn where the mole kept attack until every creature was dead, if one of the blocking creatures was indestructable, wouldnt the game just be in a infinite loop?

No for two reasons. 1. If there is another creature that can attack damage is being dealt. 2. If Angraz is the only one attacking the attacker is forced to choose not to attack to break the loop.

I too recently discovered just how obnoxious Anzrag is when facing it earlier this week. My poor Eriette deck couldn’t drain the player’s life fast enough 😭

that first big anzrag turn is such a strong lesson in why you should never, ever let that card resolve. and the rest of the game is why bounce removal is really godawful in casual lmao, unless you are using it for time to win the game or get substantially closer, bounce removal sucks so bad because it just does this, where you stay in the same place and they keep nearly killing you.

How does Roar of Challenge cause multiple combats? Shouldn't it just be just one player?

The attacker gets to assign damage from attacking creatures however they want. This includes throwing more damage on a creature than they have toughness. Roar of challenge therefore allows for at minimum one combat per creature if you are stacking all 8 power on one defending creature or a few more if you can stack 8 damage on their board without killing anything. You can also set up infinite combat steps with roar of challenge by playing a fog effect.

What would have prevented them from casting Legendary spells? All the supertype "Legendary" means is that no player can control more than one permanent with the same name and the "Legend" supertype at any one time. It's a state-based action that forces the player to sacrifice all but one permanent with a single name and the Legend supertype (which no player has priority to respond to, as state-based actions don't use the stack and cannot be responded to).

@@privettk : No. Artifacts and enchantments that are legendary don't need another legendary permanent on the battlefield to be cast. Edit: Interestingly, instants and sorceries have a casting restriction permanents do not. However, an artifact from original Kamigawa block, Mirror Gallery, literally says, "The Legend Rule doesn't apply." This would, I suspect, actually change legendary instants and sorceries to being able to cast them per normal casting rules, since you would no longer need to control a legendary creature or planeswalker to cast a legendary instant or sorcery.
