@@noviceadventurer It’s a 2018, I guess something comparable is around $3300. My truck is a 2002 Silverado, and now Leer only offers new ones back to 2004.

I just bought a new Leer 122 hi top, custom paint Ruby Red for my Ford F150, I wanted to eliminate the big bay side windows, with just the sliders. It has the drop down cab window, and, carpeted headliner, ect. My cost in Duluth at Radco, was 3400.00 and change installed including Minn. tax. I think I got a better deal. That door lock on the rear door, is cool, that is why you must have paid a bit more, and, I guess the dual function windows add as well. My old Leer had just the single large opening windows, with no screen options.

@@noviceadventurer I ordered it about a week ago, and, they said withing five weeks, maybe a bit sooner. I asked the dealer if that was realistic, and, he said yes. so, I will just have to wait and see. I curently have a cab high one on the truck, so waiting is not a problem. But I want to sell mine, I am asking a grand for it, athough the dealer said I could get more.

Good video but let’s get the hat straight thanks for showing the locking features and I have a tundra with the 6 1/2 foot box where I can sleep comfortably in. I am 6 feet tall so I have that problem anyways thanks for showing the ability to clean front windows of the truck and cap. I am looking forward picking up the Boss Tuesday. Enjoy your adventures truck camping and hopefully you get up to Alaska sometime. I am in Alberta Canada 🇨🇦 stop in for a campfire coffee if you make it up here.

You need to check the gasket between the window and the cab. Mine leaks like crazy. I had to add more weather proofing.

Glad you shared. Leer website doesn't mention them side windows or back/cab removable window. Is this dealer specific or leer options that aren't on their website?

I've had one of these for about 3 years - well worth it. If you go off road it's a good idea to double nut the shell fasteners - have fun with it!

Just snug one nut up to the bottom then hold that nut with one wrench and tighten the lock nut against the first and you won't have to do tighten it every trip @@noviceadventurer

hey great video just bought mine yesterday, how did u wire the lights and the lock with your key fob , I have the connectors on the left side company name TAG , but i’m from Europe can’t find any harness or even the same connectors , the locking/unlocking option with the keyfob is amazing but i’m not sure how am I gonna make it work thanks

Be careful putting too much under the windows. My leer has leaked heavily in rain from day 1. Their response to me was that it’s not meant to be waterproof. Stupid!
