Great video! For a hotel room in the neighbourhood of $200 in the prime of prime area in Singapore, and a new one with all that facilities you mentioned, I think it's very decent.

Hey there! Thanks for the question! Breakfast buffet was decent! Not the best but I think slightly above average or average imo. Swimming pool wise, we were there when it was just opened, so definitely clean. (Meaning not alot of people has peed inside, lol jokes) But yea, im not too sure now but im pretty sure they have some level of maintenance judging from the size of the whole hotel!

Do I need to pay a deposit in this hotel ?Is the deposit a one-time payment?How much is the total?

From my recollection, we did not pay a deposit to the hotel! And yes, usually deposits are one time payment and will cancel it if you dont use it after check out!

Ooooh another Chinatown property! Though tbh I feel like the Mercure brand is a bit overrated. I still think KINN Studios and KeSa House offer better value in that area. Incidentally I stayed at a Mercure/Tokyu Stay property in Osaka and it looked like a nice boutique room but it’s rather overpriced. Looking forward to you Japan hotel review too!

But yea, Rose has the same sentiments about Mercure haha, but this Mercure is an exception since its the biggest Mercure in the world haha (why not right hahaha), and totally agree on KINN Studios! but yet to check KeSa House haha. soon hopefully? AHHA Currently in Japan now, haha but all the hotels are super expensive! Walked past Park Hyatt Kyoto and decided to check the price online, its a whopping SGD 2K a night... on a low peak month. lol And thank you so much for the support for Japan content! Coming soon! 😀

Mercure osaka is nice, superb location, ok-ish breakfast, nice room but then the room lacks natural lighting or bright available light. So the room is kinda dark. Fine for me, but for my wife that need light to do makeup, its kinda hard lol 😅 Anyway mercure is supposed to be a mid level accor brand. So don’t expect too much from them

Now Accor sent me notification urging me to try this hotel " Biggest Mercure hotel in the world?" I prefer to boycott this hotel till Accor take over full mgt of this hotel , change the hotel 81 toilet system, develop this into Grand Mercure
