I personally think your videos are popular because of your voices. Both of you have a calming, soothing tone when you speak that is very pleasant to listen to through the video. As an American I, of course, adore your accent, as well! 😊. Also I believe your content to be top notch. Historical facts are dispersed throughout your videos with fascinating facts and video of incredibly interesting places. I also love how you show local shots of animals, boats, whatever else, that give you a “feel” for a place. I almost feel I am there with you. Your cooking parts interest me as well. For me it’s cool to see the differences between what we eat in the US and what you eat across the pond and how you prepare it. Finally, you two are adorable as a couple. Your easy way with each other, how you tease each other, your obvious love for each other shine through on each and every video. You two are kind, compassionate and just plain lovely. The reason why you are accumulating more subscribers is because your vlogs are not only entertaining but also informative and enjoyable. I Subscribed years ago, since the first trip in ‘little red’! The channel provides something for everyone, the cooking, takeaways and eating out reviews, visits to historical places in the UK and Europe, drone shots, music, relaxed conversations. You have both remained authentic and true over the years, no playing up to the camera, no click baiting. Not being derogatory but, when you're camping you need to be flexible. If something needs to be eaten, switch your meal plan. Easy. Don't set things in stone. You can eat things whenever, wherever. 😊 Love whatever you put out here. Scenic, camper, special places and activities. Doesn't matter. I'm sure many of us are stuck in the states with no means to travel abroad. Amazing content!

Carol & Ken... My daughter bought me a pan lid that is like this one on a certain popular online store, titled "Multi Size Replacement Silicone and Glass Lid fits 18cm, 20cm & 22cm Saucepans & Pots". It is superb. I start to fry my eggs in a small non stick frying pan, with the tiniest bit of spray oil in the pan, and then immediately put this lid on, it effectively coddles the eggs with the steam that's created and can't escape, and because it's a clear lid you can see when the eggs are ready. I use this lid on other pans too, it fits different sizes. Thoroughly recommend.

I keep my little fridge well stocked with lots of condiments, etc. I take any perishables along when I leave home and replenish them as I go. I find that I like to buy local food or things on special and plan my meals around them. And, like you, I enjoy trying out local restaurants and coffee shops, which usually provide me with leftovers to finish filling the fridge.

We really love the music in your videos. Re buying food as you go versus stocking up, I used to plan all the food and tended to stock up, but Stephen is in charge on this trip and it has worked out well to buy food for the next day or two, even when we were travelling in remote Western Australia and Northern Territory. We felt particularly envious when you went into a farm shop as we had to be very lucky to find any fresh fruit or vegetables or nice cheeses or meat at the various roadhouses along our route. As you said, it means you can be more flexible and spontaneous around meals.

I’ve always preferred freezer space over fridge space. As long as you have space for milk,salad drinks etc that’s ok. Having frozen chicken pieces, mince, even beef strips, then mixed veg, you can make curry, stews, cottage pies,stir frys, and with frozen potatoes you can put together a roast even! There’s no end of things you can freeze at home and take with you 😊

I’ve watched several when you were in the little red van. The new van seems so much more homey and convenient. I think this gives you more freedom to do better videos, and better audio. I really enjoy this channel, thank you for binging it to us.

Fantastic place. Loved the stone bench. For the food, I guess it's easier if you are staying on site and not travelling as you might be more tempted to eat out. Personally, I plan my meals and absolutely stick to it. And I just buy exactly what I need. At least I know I can't 'deviate' . I put the food in my fridge in the day order.

I'd have a verra hard time ever coming away from that bookstore. This video is wonderful for me as it is about where my ancestors must have arrived...Manx, Norman French, Scandinavia. I love Rain X on my windshields and on my shower doors. I'm skipping the haggis and black pudding. I can't believe you aren't sipping big mugs of tea whilst watching that rain.
