I loved "Creepy John" lol. It was hilarious hearing Simon call him that. When he came into the film, I see why he was called creepy. I loved his character because it was abvious that he was a piece of work. Funny, blunt and in your face. Loved this version of John.

oh man oh man, I can't wait for that one. That should be a great scene. Well, to be honest, any scene with Jesus in it is a good one. I love the way the music, the background all works together. And yep it makes me cry every time. Like when he calls Mary be name, when he asks the children to recite the Sheba and even when he looks at Simon after being told to throw the net in one more time. This is such an incredible series/project. Thanks be to God our Father, Jesus our Lord, and to Dallas, cast and crew. Love you guys

My 1st favorite scene: Jesus looks at the 3 men on crosses when entering Jerusalem, 2nd favorite when Jesus looks at John as he walks away to finish God's work. Jesus knows and Jonathan reflects that perfectly to us in his eyes.

Reminds me of something I read recently about the composer Johann Sebastian Bach. He began his compositions with the letters "JJ" or "JH", standing for "Jesus, help" (Latin or German) and ended them with SDG - Soli Deo Gloria (Latin - To God Alone Glory).

Me and my sister always try to imagine the relationship between JESUS and John in real life and even between other characters and Jesus, it's amazing to imagine, but with chosen these imagination are coming to life for the first time. Great work 😁

IDK. I do know that the producer receives advice from different religious leaders including Jews. Jews have traditionally held that Jesus was a rebel who conspired with his cousin to “mislead” others. That’s is a exactly what this show depicted. I wonder if the producer is even aware of this. I watched that scene a few times - the look on Jesus face as John disappears walking to Jerusalem (to his death) - sad as the time is getting closer for his own death

One thing I always found interesting in the Gospels is despite the fact its made clear Jesus and John are cousins - know each other and are friends. Even John himself - the one asked to make the way for the King - seems suprised by how Jesus ministry manifests. Like in the Gospel of Matthew when John is in prison and he sends disciples to Jesus to ask him if he really is the one or if they should expect another. Its seems even he wasn't expecting Jesus ministry to look like it did. I always found that interesting that even John was suprised and it appeared even he thought it would be a ministry of "power" rather then sacrifice

Well. When the mothers were pregnant, they spent a lot of time together. They were going through their pregnancy journeys at the same time, which is fun as special. They most likey visited each other often, kept in touch and brought the children together to play often. I think it is very gracious of God to give Mary a relative carrying a very special baby at the same time she was carrying this special child. Mary was a virgin and probably very nervous.

There will be delays, difficult situations and the wagon will not drive where we have planned to, but the main Director of the show is on His throne and from heaven controls absolutely everything and has already taken care of each situation from eternity.
