I met Sally once spent a night with her talking about Warren Lanfranchie ,But more importantly i knew Warren Lanfranchie most of his life , He was only a small guy had plenty of heart was very hansdsome with really nice eyes thats what Sally loved about him his eyes , I first met him in boys homes when we were twelve years old done a lot of time in homes institutions and prison together , Everyone in the criminal world knows what happened to Warren Lanfranchie and Sally Anne , Sally went to score some heroin or coke of a dealer and the rest is history , others were waiting there for her , It is no secret what happened and who . Sally was warned to keep quiet about what she was saying everywhere , It was causing a lot of problems for the most evilest copper in Australia . But Sally loved Warren Lanfranchie she wanted justice and wanted revenge , Honestly it is a real life love story You could make a movie on the love story alone, played by Margo Robbie herself . Im sure it would be one of the greatest love stories of all times. My heart broke for Sally Anne and for Warren Lanfranchie he was a solid bloke yeh he was a crim but he was a good one , He was no dog . loyal to his friends , i hope they are both together in the afterlife , RIP

I've always been incredibly infatuated by Sally Ann. I think she was beautiful, she had an air about her which I think drew many people in. She's a unsung hero. She was the catalyst for great change in the Australian police force. RIP Sally Anne

Sally Anne deserved protection. Her memory would be best served by protecting whistleblowers in future. "Australia's first whistleblower" is murdered? Shameful!

Along with her, the disappearance of potential whistleblower Brian Alexander earlier in the 1980s was a major blow to the investigation into the Nugan Hand bank's links to organised crime and the CIA.

Such sad life she had... Used by police, killed by them. Never trust anyone, whatever their status or job. I think this is even more sad, she was trying to integrate society, but heroine is the thoughest battle, struggle... I am trying to become a "normal" citizen, but still can't really stop heroine. It has become my only friend, sounds weird, but when everyone let you down, lie to you, use you, hurt you, heroine become the only thing that have you stay strong. Sadly. I don't promote it, it is just a fact in my life. And I've tried methadone, Suboxone, many times, in earlier times i tried detox so often i can't remember how many times, still i could never stop. The nightmares coming back when in detox, i just couldn't stand. Memories don't go easily, and your subconscious won't let you forget.

Annie M Your story really touched me, you are very brave to share it. I really empathise with you and hope you find happiness because you deserve to be happy. People can be so cruel, I get exactly what you mean. Sometimes I feel heroin is the only reason I’m still here, life can be painful and heroin takes the pain away. Thank you Annie, cheers.

Have you tried marijuana to curb the cravings while you detox? There’s also ayuasca but you need to make sure you go to an actual shaman. Read on doctor Gabor Maté and his work with addicts and ayuasca

@@x80WildCat08x Thank you for replying, that was so nice of you. Every time I’ve had marijuana, I start getting paranoid, can’t even look at myself in the mirror, but I will take your advice and look into Gabor Mate. I have heard that name from somewhere. Once again thank you, Cheers & all the best to you.

Her long time dealer, set her up. Likely threatened by Neddy, who may have also been threatened by Rogerson. Sallie Ann should have never stuck around in the same area. Worse yet was not changing dealers. I was really taken by her in the 60 minutes tell all. She was one of those people you just hope makes it and survives. She may have also miss-judged just how far the corruption went, thinking she'd be safe once they were in prison. Rogerson also would have still likely had contacts making him aware that she was continuing to talk. If she would have just stopped talking, and or moved far away while also dramatically staying low visibility. Looking back it always easier to see things clearly, but it really does feel like she was still staying part of the scene, way to much.

Why is the narrator trying to make her out to be vengeful and little? The love of her life was murdered in cold blood by someone who broke the unspoken rules. So she ended the game.
