Jaime nailed it! He’s right on every single point! Truth hurts tho….. And as far as Elliott, he races more clean and respectful than any other driver in the field, and it’s no surprise since Jimmie Johnson mentored him. BUT chase needs to drop that mentality bc no other driver races him with the same respect, as they shouldn’t. So this trash is going to keep happening to the 9 as long as he races with “class and respect”

Jamie, you know you’re old where you think a driver is “cool.” Lol. Ross’s move was awesome and poor Chase wrecked himself. Racing deal 100%. And Jamie, he has even more fans, get real.

I don't know how young you are but I actually watched Dale Earnhardt race and Dale Earnhardt didn't wreck people on purpose. It's like a fish story every time it gets told there's 50 new people he spun out and crashed. Dale Earnhardt raced aggressively he would move people he rarely wrecked anybody. I would say he didn't like nearly as many people as Jeff Gordon but that's not how the media paints it and young people weren't alive to watch it happen so they just go with what they're told.

Too aggressive? So give your championship opponent a break when the race is winding down and restarts are the only chance to pass? Elliott wrecked himself. 😆

Did you guys not replay his radio? He asked if he did something wrong! Chase did think he did any thing wrong. His spotter saw it from up top. He turned him. Period.

Well, no. Chastain wasn't too aggressive because Chase turned himself across Chastain's nose, and not that this would be an excuse, but it's the championship race anyways.

They're reasoning that Ben was avoiding the wreck is so garbage lol. Chris Buescher went below the yellow line at Daytona to avoid Erik Jones in the 20 who was bouncing off a fucking wall in 3 and 4 and instead of finishing 2nd he got DQ'd.

What's up with these guys automatically bashing rosh Chastain because of something else that happened several races ago. If something isn't your fault today, that shouldn't be dependent on if you did something 5 weeks ago. This is what annoys me about the Ross Chastain haters. I'm not his biggest fan, but you need to judge each incident individually. It was like early in the season when Christopher Bell pulled up in front of him and wrecked and they blame Chastain

Ross had a lot of room to go lower but held his ground, wrecked Chase, and slowed himself down in the process. There's not a lot about this that makes sense. The rule, Ross's move, Chase's move, on and on.

There are screen shots now that prove both drivers were clearly past the start finish line. Very well done by Ross and unfortunately Chase miss judged it. Ross has just become a scapegoat for everyone else's mistakes no matter what the evidence is and nobody else has to take any accountability.

I'm a fan of Elliot and was not happy he got turned. However, at the moment of contact, Chastain had the inside and Elliot came down just a bit further. Either he wasn't informed Chastain was there or didn't see him. Once Chastain got a few inches inside that L rear of Elliot he established position and has a right to maintain his racing line. Really an unfortunate incident.
@jamesrussian2552 жыл бұрын
It's for a championship not a regular race . Plus he had position .
@whippersnapper64562 жыл бұрын
Chase didn't throw a block. If you restart on the inside line you have to cut the dog leg or you risk getting sandwiched in the middle. You don't do anything different if you're a driver worth a damn. Now Ross didn't do anything wrong either but he's the only one that can keep it from happening. He could have either blipped the throttle a little or go further down to avoid hitting him. With 20 or 30 to go all bets are off but there was over 110 laps left. I think it was a bit early to be that aggressive. Just my opinion.
