Seems like this is a normal occurance from them, half truths and mislead from them, I think Niantic need to give up all their games and give it to the ones who would actually do a good job with such, Niantic need to get their hands of these games and just only slap their name on the games and that's it, that's what I think tbh, otherwise this wasn't a good event tbh

The chance to get the special move on the opposite Origin forme was a PAIN!!! I caught a 98 that would be perfect for ML, and it did not know Spatial rend...... I did 22 Palkia and only 1 of them knew the move with horrible IVs. I hope Niantic makes us able to Charge tm the moves here in a month. Im so hoping I can get a GL Giratina, i gotta find someone new to trade with, it will be worth the dust

what I hate the most is when they put in the special research a move, you're needing that move and you can't get, especially if you are limited on how many raid your able to do. plus, they should have made them auto catch as they did last year. also, when your guarantee catches in your research, why do they need to ensure you throw 20 to 30 balls to catch it.

I'm a free to play player, so I don't spend money on Pokemon Go. For this reason, I didn't expect to get a lot of shiny or good ones, but I managed to get something. -100% shadow chimchar - complete shiny lake trio - both dialga and palkia with new moves (I used lucky trades with friends) - plus about 10 more shinys caught in the wild - some meta pokemon with good iv for pvp I did about 10 raids in total, today I will only do one (free to play 🙃). But I guess I can't complain, for one day's play, pretty good results.

@@LobsterCameramanProductions These are basically the only ways I get Raid Passes: - I buy them for coins from Gym defend (I try to put them in places where I can get 50 a day). - Sometimes they drop from Showcases (but very rarely, out of 120 wins I probably got 3-4, by wins i mean only 1#). - Sometimes they are part of Special Research rewards. I'm not sure if you can get them from PvP rewards, but it's definitely my main source of RaryCandy (I also get them from Raids and Routes). Generally, I try to save for Pokemon that are useful in Raids or when I really want some shiny ones. So I limit myself to using the Daily Raid Pass.

@@treysmith8410There are videos out there that explain the stats. A 15 attack, 15 defence, 15 hp is a hundo or4*. A 98%, one of the stats will be 14, the two others, 15. I think Poke Daxi does a video on it.

I had to do over 30 origin dialga raids to get one shiny. The Ivs were basically always 2 stars too and so many ran away like 16 excellent throws with golden razz

The sinnoh tour on the first day I was only able to get 2 shinys it was only chimcar. Couldn't get enough to people to raid. But at least the weather was nice. I will try again tomorrow.

Did around 50 legendary raids…got two shiny origin dialgas, one shiny origin palkia, and one shiny qwillfish. The catch rates on the legendary raids were such a time sink… 15 plus balls to catch every time.

In the run-up to the Sinnoh Tour, the only shiny me and my group got was a Cresselia... from a limited research. And on Saturday(Today), the only Shiny we got was an Origin Palkia with Spacial Rend and a Shinx. Only 3 Shinies from a group of 5... after many raids. I lost track, at least I got the Palkia on the Pearl route.

I feel your frustration. I spent around $100 on remote raid passes. I did 40+ Dialga raids and no shiny but I did get a Hundo. I did 30+ Palkia raids and got 4 shinys but no Spacial Rend on any of them cause I chose the Dialga badge. Not the result I was expecting.

Here's me throwing everyone a bone. If you have any pokemon from 2018 or earlier. Save them...Tag them...then use them to get yourself some quaranteed decent and likely high IV Dialga and Palkia...rather than spending money looking for high IV. Now if it's the XL candy tour hunting...can't really help ya with that.

I also spent $300 for remotes. I went down dialga route, got 3 shiny dialgas 1 being a shundo which was awesome but zero shiny palkias out of 191 remote raids. 82 origin palkias. Maybe I’ll get one today. Good luck to you.

Shiny rate was horrible indeed. 30 raids, no shiny. Same thing with wild spawns, 8 hours of intense walking and just a few worthless shinies I already had. Huge disappointment. The worst event so far for me. I felt like I'd been scammed.

In my area, it's still in winter. I went downtown and saw no one walking around. I saw no one in any raids. Went back to the park/ beach near my home. Saw 1-2 cars driving back and forth between both lots. Gave up after 2 hours. Used incense at home for 2 hours. Came away with shiny pika with a white bandana and a piplup. It wasn't that exciting. A key point here was I got off work at 7 am...

I got 44 shinies! It was a great day and so much fun! Lots of people were out and about and all you heard was, "I just caught a shiny so and so!" "Look! There's a shiny right here!" etc. Lots of laughs too. It was so great! I picked Diamond and never got a shiny Dialga though. Oh well, maybe tomorrow! Caught a couple shiny of the opposite I chose, and did get Spacial Rend on a couple normal ones! I hope everyone had a great time as well! Tomorrow is going to be even better! Let's gooooo! Edit: Finished with 86 shinies! That's the most I've ever gotten on a 2-day event! Still didn't get a shiny Origin Forme Dialga but overall it was a lot of fun and great memories to share! I wish there was a way I could trade with people long distances because I have a LOT of duplicate shinies! I got 6 shiny Stunkys! Don't need that many! LOL! 😂

I got 19 shinies including every lake trio shiny and a shiny Palkia. I was playing with 3 other people and we were basically just focusing on shiny checking. Catching was just too slow most of the time and we didn’t really need the candy. Overall, quite happy so far with our results. Although, egg shiny rates were absolutely garbage. Out of the 4 accounts, we got only 1 shiny from eggs. That was extremely frustrating. Also, I wish the origin forms of palkia and dialga were the only ones available. All the fun shiny boosted Pokemon were available the same time the origin forms were available while the off hours were quite boring. Wish we could have raided during the off hours for the origin forms and shiny checked for the space distortion hours. Overall, I’m quite happy. Still had a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to doing it again Sunday

From the two days I raided which I raided basically all day (primarily origin dialga and regular) I ended up with 1 shiny origin dialga .88 and a shiny dialga regular, I had zero xl or candies for them before hand, but I did end up with 206 xl for dialga by the end, and 1 .84 palkia origin with spacial rend. All in all I’m happy, especially considering the day before the go fest started I caught a shundo giratina origin. I’m only up to 130xl for it though 🙃

I went to the LA tour, and have to say the shiny rates for global were so, soooo much lower. Both for raids and eggs/catches. The IVs for my raids were pretty crappy as well. I played 7-8 hours both days, and I live in the city so I played both days at circular quay, which means a ton of lures, gyms and stops and when I was raiding my auto catcher was running. 21 shiny Pokemon across both days in total and not one hundo so I’m a bit bummed about that. My xp and dust increase was awesome, and it was great to be able to jump into remote raids with people who I know have a small player base around them to help out without being worried about being capped. My only two raid shiny ‘mon were from remotes I did, which made me think - would it be better for Niantic to increase shiny rates for in person raids as incentive, and have the remote raid cap be at 20 or something per day (since they will never go back to uncapped unfortunately) with a lower shiny rate. That way there is incentive to get out and play like they want, but there is some compromise with the remote cap. It would also help out those who don’t have the community or capacity to do in person raids. I am much happier to lose a remote pass and try 2-3 people in a legendary raid to help someone out when there is no cap, but I’m more likely to jump out at 20-30 seconds remaining with a cap of 5 per day if I see it’s just myself and the person who has invited me (which makes me a crappy person, sorry 😢). Overall I didn’t hate the event this weekend, and you’re 1000% right the background was amazing. I guess I was just hoping, considering the amount of tickets and money spent this weekend, that the shiny rate was higher overall. If anyone hasn’t started day two, my fingers are crossed for y’all and I hope you have much better shiny odds x

I’m free to play, so only did 15 5-star raids all day (with my pile of premier passes) … Zero shinies, but I did get Roar of Time from only 5 Dialga raids. That was really my only bright spot. Only got 3 spawn shinies all day too, and had them each already, (and my list of ones I still need is pretty long!).

Did this happen to anyone else??… The Wednesday before the event I bought one of the boxes with 3 remote raid passes, I used one and when I came back later that day they were gone. The exact same thing happened on Saturday where I bought the bundle for 3 remote passes, I used one and then the other two were gone later. After I contacted niantic support, they told me I WILLINGLY “DELETED” them and they can’t do anything about it. Another thing that happened on the Wednesday after doing an azelf raid, I got 9 rare candies and none of them showed up in my storage, even though I had enough room. The last thing that happened was today on Monday where I go on the game and see that the majority of my pokeballs are gone. The exact same thing happened to my friend where his 100 ultra balas magically disappeared right after the event. This game is literally such a ripoff and niantic is so money hungry that they’ll go as far as blaming you for something they did.

I chose diamond, my results are 2/78 shinies for dialga, and 2/40 shinies with only 1 spatial rend (last raid). My guesses on why it was so hard to get spec move: only possible after around 40 catches, only possible after you traded and unlocked it, or only possible with remote raids.

I did like 9 Dialga Origin raids and got 2 with Roar of Time. One was rank 55 ML shiny. The other is rank 9 ML. Palkia Origin I had terrible luck with shiny: none, zero. I did get a rank 10 ML. No plans to grind XL candies except to max out my normal Palkia. Will do that Sunday.

now that its gone global, i love it. ive gotten far more legendries than ever before : 2x origin forme dialga, 1x origin forme palkia, 2x normal forme palki, 1x shiny normal forme dialga, 1x altered forme giritina, 1x shiny azelf, 1x mesprit, 1x uxie, 1x regigigas. and i got a husuian decidueye and husuian samurott, i also got kleavor and spiritomb. i also got 3 unknowns and evolved my shiny rhydon into shiny rhyperior.my first origin forme palkia and origin forme dialga had their moves, roar of time and spacial rend. all on the first day of it being global and far more to come

It was a so-so event. I couldn't play as much as I would've liked. I had to work the first day and barely got to play the second day. What they should've done was bring in Arceus, Phione, and Manaphi instead of bringing in origin form Palkia and Dialga. Those two could've been brought in at any time. I did so many remote raids I don't even want to know... I got a hundo origin form Palkia and it's shiny (not a hundo), 2 98% origin form Dialga, 2 shiny origin form Dialga, and some shinies from the wild... It was not their best event, but I didn't expect a lot...

Fav memory from the tour looking back now was 100% getting the 2nd shiny voltorb that i was desperate for whilst in line to buy a gregg's pizza at like 11am and having to contain my excitement XD but i had a really successful tour with about 32 shinies including all 3 of the lake trio and a shiny normal dialga And walked 50 miles in total. Got both a spacial rend palkia and roar of time dialga. Now i just gotta see if i can beat last year's 52 shinies at go fest 2023 this year in go fest 2024.

I did 33 Palkia raids (no shinies) & 44 Dialga raids (3 shinies). 1 shiny Chatot from an egg. No shiny Unknowns. 48 Giratina raids. Only one was a shiny (origin form) but, it is a 15/15/13! My girlfriend did 23 Palkia raids (no shinies), 35 Dialga with only one being shiny (altered form), 51 Giratina raids with 4 shinies (one altered form and 3 origin form). Neither of us got a Hundo. After watching your video my girl is giving you a shout out for 'Being Real' in your videos! Some of these KZbinrs with all their shiny this and this makes both of us sick! We wore coats and had cold fingers Saturday (spent most our time playing from inside the car) and have many more locations to choose from in Northern Ohio. The Sun was out over here and it helped a lot. We went hard on Sinnoh Stones through Party Challenges and will do the same Sunday. I really hope you get the Origin Dialga Shiny on Sunday!!!!!!!! P.S. We both did the Diamond route and got a sparce amount of Spacial Rend but a great amount of Roar of Time on our Pokemon.

40 raids Saturday, zero shiny. 30 raids Sunday, 5 shiny. Best dialga and palkia were 93 in 70 raids. SMH

Day 1 - 9 shiny pokemon 1 hundo magmar, Day 2 - only 7 and hatched a hundo pachirisu .. and i played longer on the second day , 18 origin dialga raids and no shiny.. really frustrating . But nice to meet up with a bunch of people and get some lucky trades done . Doesn't happen as often as it used to. Did get both special moves and shiny xxl palkia which one me a showcase and some new shiny pokemon like growlith and pikachu with hats as well as other cool ones like hisuian sneasel.

Fiancée & myself played for over 5 & a half hours. I had two shinny’s until the last few minutes & then caught two shinny Azelfs, which I already had… derp. My fiancée caught five overall including two Dialga & one Palkia. I would have liked to have caught more but It was a free event & I had fun so I’m not going to complain about it.

I actually did shockingly well. 29 shinies BUT none of them were from eggs or raids, both of which I grinded relatively hard. I did get atleast one of each special move though thankfully

I 10000% agree with the Dialga raids. I'm at 0-35 for shiny. I got shiny palkia in 16 and I picked Dialga. I did only get 2 with spacial rend.

Did 25 raids. Got 1 shiny origin dialga, and 1 shiny normal form palkia. Found 20+ other shiny spawns playing basically the entire event on both days.. i even found the entire lake trio shiny. Didn't focus on eggs much. Hatched maybe a dozen? Got 1 shiny pachirisu. I feel like it was a good event 🤷🏻‍♂️. It's just random for everyone

got 96% shiny origin dialga WITHOUT the move, powered it up anyway, because it was the best one i caught, i didnt even got ONE 93% or 91%... and the best with roar of time is 89% so greeeeat

I did 50 dialga raids, 76 giratina raids, and 96 palkia raids. On my 90TH palkia raid, I got my first and only 98% for the whole week. No hundos. I was extremely disappointed with my results during this event and plan on taking a break from the game. Oh, and my alt account which I took to raid on twice with free passes and then trade the results to me got a 100% dialga the second raid it did. Second. This game seems to reward people for not playing so as to draw them back in, and because of that, it's pushing me out.

I had issues getting kicked out of a raid with "Walk closer to the gym", for both remote and in person. Backing out of catching Palkia or Dialga cost me a few ones too because raid was expired and i had balls left. I even lost a shiny Dialga because it kept escaping, no idea wtf that was about. Game felt buggy and took several log out - log in to actually get back in the game. Shiny rate was kinda decent here for Palkia and Dialga. I used 70'ish raid passes, including the 10 i lost on issues, and i got 4-5 shiny ones, even two back to back. Shiny rate for normal pokemons are not boosted or useful, and hatching eggs seems like a scam as always

Honestly was a pretty lackluster experience. I played 10-6 today and I got a total of 4 shines. I grinded shiny checks, eggs and raids all day just for 4 shinies. (hisuian quilfish, azelf, of dialga, and mantine) Hoping tomorrow goes better. Good luck to you.

From what i understand, because of remote raid u jumped ahead in time to get Palkia or Dialga origin. So you didnt get the special move or shiny till it was 10 AM in Anchorage. I think Niantic made this restriction

The only shiny hatch I got was a shiny Galarian Meowth. Yeah, the shiny rates were abysmal!! Also I know how you feel, when shiny Dialga first came out; it took me no joke, 150+ raids before I got the shiny!!

for us here it's crazy pissing rain, definitely couldnt even grind in this kind of weather.. i agreee that its just too much going on, its way better to just have a raid focus day, and then next day is catch day..

I chose the pearl route for Palkia. I raided 22 Palkia origins not 1 single shiny ✨. 10 minutes before event stopped, me and my buddies saw a dialga origin form nearby that had 2 minutes left. Defeated it, 1st try 98% shiny ✨ with roar of time. Caught him on the 1st ball with no berries 🍇😳. I got major BITTER SWEET 😠😅😊 vibes. Since Palkia wanted to be arrogant, I’m going hard on dialga and his candies tomorrow. Screw Palkia 😂

I got 11 shinies day 1. Didn't go max grind. I was disappointed by the shiny odds but I did get basically everything I wanted day 1. No Dialga or Palkia tho.

Shiny odds were definitely boosted for wild spawns because i found alot more during sinnoh tour than any other day but im not too sure about boosted rates for raids

I’m glad I went to the Rose Bowl. It really was a lot more fun and I did a it better than I did today. I did get the Bastion shiny so I’m good!
