That was a special time in hip hop but especially in NY. I remember meeting Stack at vinnies downtown Brooklyn, where he often shopped at. I think he had just finished shooting a dvd. And me and my man went over to speak to him. He was a cool nigga. Had great energy. He had the Porsche sitting outside. He had just got it a couple weeks earlier. I remember him asking me n my mans opinion on some jackets he was buying. I was heavy on the set n byrdgang at the time and was a fan of him. I’ll never forget that day. He was nice, next up, and if u was in the street at the time them bars hit a lil bit harder. Me and everyone I was around at the time was hurt when he left. RIP G’z. A young legend

@@tyriqnobles6959 man, that’s a dope ass story!! Me being born and raised in Detroit, I’ve always been a hip hop head and i look at New York as the Mecca so I’ve always been locked in on NY. I even put my boys up on bundles because i listen to him so much. I was telling them he was from far rockaway queens and they wondered how i got hip to him because NY and Detroit are SO FAR away. That byrdgang mixtape did it for me. I was a fan ever since. I had to go back after that and listen to the clue tapes and the riot squad shit. He had superstar qualities but you could tell he was a cool ass nigga like you said. He had that “it” factor that you don’t see in hip hop that much. I was so stunned when he got killed like naw, not stack man. I’m still hurt about it.

This is one of the saddest stories I ever heard in hip hop. I only heard of Stacks briefly before he died. Then after he died, I heard more and was baffled when I heard he was killed. I also, on another channel, read a fan comment about him, a person who claims to be from his hood. They typed that Stacks stayed in the hood, with jewelry and fly cars to actually INSPIRE people in the hood to "come up" and do better. The person said that he wanted to be a real life example of success in his hood for inspiration, not bragging. The story of one of his own friends killing him AFTER he prevented a robbery not only shows how good of a man he was but also shows how greedy and sick his friends were. Sorry to hear that happened to him. Rest In Peace, Stack Bundles. And yeah Jim was using him, smh. I personally never liked Jim Jones. He seemed to be a hanger-on of Cam in the beginning, because his raps were just never really good. Jim was the weakest to me in the entire Dipset.
