It is balanced at 8.0, of course everything in the hands of a good player becomes OP, but a good player doesn't represent the average player.

Moving it to 8.0 doesn't help it much since there aren't much vehicles to fit that lineup (unless you prefer it then more power to you). Sure you can use the IL-28 Ish, La-15, ZSU-37-2 or ZSU-23-4 alongside it but 8.3 is just a much more viable lineup unless you don't want to be uptiered to 9.3 a lot.

I disagree, 8.3 gets uptiered a lot more and you got decent 7.7 tanks that can help at 8.0 like the object 906 or the t54 1947

Been playing 7.0 US lineup and let me tell you I have been getting up tier to 8.0 about 1 out every 5 games so this does help this tank

@@kochiyoshi T54 are fine if you have a position advantage over the enemy. The gun is really good as long as you are not moving and the armor can mitigate the odd conventional round shot at you while on the move. but the 8.3 line up is much better than anything you can pull In 8.0. T62, bmp2 and it1 are really great and you can still use the 906 in 8.3 too

That's not a commander on the right side turret tho. It's a loader equipped with Dshk 50. Cal and on the left side is the commander. The reason why they don't want it to be on the commander side is cuz they don't want commander to die outside of the tank and he can only command all of the entire crew. The loader is act as an engineering so that the loader can assist as a machine gunner on top while the commander can act as a loader according to in real-life event.

My aluminum hat pushes me to believe they make certain vehicles between tiers, this is to make punters pushing multiple of their lower tier vehicles up to 8.0 and form a line up. This has a general result of them losing more SL than they would be lifting a single tank to 8.3. Then again, I have lots of theories about they way they operate. Lots of things they do don't seem to make sense unless you look at ways of reducing SL or encouraging mods/premiums golded. But back to my hole now........

Gaijin wants us to play whole lineups but they change a single vehicle BR and make it unique in said BR bracket(only other 8.0 is ZSU) forcing us either: a) Keep same 8.3 lineup and uptier the T-55 anyway b) Put it in our 7.7 lineup and uptier rest of our tanks c) Play it for 1 death and leave

the t55a makes all the other t54s look like total shit. It is a very good tank at its BR, I would say get it. Even put a Tali on it if you have to grind the USSR still.

t95e1 is such a struggling tank now, probably worst 8.0 atm, close by that m48. I can already see them being downtiered by gaijin soon instead of doing decompression as usualy.

Lol, it still kicks. Both STB's, Chinese T59 (no apfsds), M113's of any nation, Pvrpv, AMX13 hot, amx30 acra, striker probably more 8.0's that are worse than the t95e1 or m48, and need to be sorted before the t95e1. But alas that is a major nation, it will go down before many that should before it. However, I am of the school that nothing should go down and the tree needs to be expanded up, so other vehicles should be decompressed and the BR's expanded. Damn hard when you see some of the vehicles they drop in BR.

@@attafathur you either didnt play t55 or the game as a whole. Without having any gun depression low profile means nothing because you have to show your hull to fire in most cases. But in m60 you can use the depression. Also the worst apfsds in the game not much better than m60's apds. Repair cost has no effect on gameplay

@@attafathur 3BM25 sucks ass...129mm angled 60 degree pen is tragic compared to 190ish mm of DM23. The APDS the T55 gets is almost as good as its dart. 3BM25 cannot penetrate the Turret cheeks of the XM-1 which isn't exactly well protected

8.0 is well deserved, the chinese T54A is at 8.0 which is basically the same vehicle minus the APFSDS, and the chinese built T55 with its own 220 pen apfsds i dont see the problem at all, it just has no lineup, altough i wouldn't be surprised if the T10M were to move down soon to 8.0 as well

The russian one is literally better than the two chinese ones, better turret drive, better hp/ton, better firepower, the ONLY plus on the chinese vehicles is a rangefinder on the Type 69. There is no way Type 59 should be the same BR as the T-55A.

If the video includes pre-aiming before someone you can't see or hear comes around that exact corner, it isn't their gaming chair. This goes for all content creators of ground forces WT, regardless of how long they've been making content. Do you ever think "wow, how does he just sit with his back exposed for that long without anyone coming into view and shooting him?" it's because they can see if someone is flanking and that's when they magically move to break LOS with where they are pushing. "Always in just the right spot" is the telltale sign of wallhacks.

@@agreeable4334 something right but somethings are wrong. The mobility is good at going forward only, if you ever played once Russian tank, you will find out that the reverse speed is horrible. Also, basically all the medium tank can defense the shell other than HEAT or APFSDS, I would not say T55A has good armor, it is just fine but not really outstanding. Then the APCBC, it can penetrate the weak point only and it need to *Practice*.
