💥 Exposing Paul Lies 💥 When you read Matthew chapter 27, you will see that Judas killed himself before - according to them - the crucifixion of Jesus: Matthew 27:5 So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself. Matthew 27:46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli,[a] lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). That is why it means before the event - according to them - the resurrection of Jesus - that the number of the disciples would be 11, but Paul said in his letter to the Corinthians: 1 Corinthians 15:5 and that he appeared to Cephas,[a] and then to the Twelve. This means that he did not receive the revelation and the alleged story of the resurrection did not happen, but Mark, who came later said: Mark 16:14 Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. So Mark (The Anonymous Person) who didn't claim getting revelation didn't make the mistake in this alleged resurrection story but Paul who made the claim getting the revelation from Jesus get it wrong 🙄

@Mike JJJ You think that circling the Temple of Mecca 7 times in Hajj is pagan? Clearly, you don't even know the Old Testament and the Law of God On each of the first six days of Haj Sukkot it was Jewish tradition to circle the Temple alter once while reciting psalms of Prophet David. On the seventh day of Sukkot the custom was to circle the Temple alter seven times. The Oral Torah says: "It was customary to make one circumambulation around the altar on each day of Sukkot; and seven circumambulations on the seventh day.” (Mishnah Sukkah 4:5). Each of the seven circles done on the seventh day is done in honor of a prophet; Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron and David, all of whom both Jews and Muslims revere. Further detials: In the centuries after the second Jerusalem Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE; pilgrimage ceased. Today the overwhelming majority of Jews outside the Land of Israel live in Protestant countries where pilgrimage plays little or no role in religious life. Thus, it is very hard for most Jews to feel the tremendous spiritual uplift that occurs to pilgrims on the long path to, and amidst the mass tumult of, a very special holy and sacred place. Both the Holy Qur’an and the Holy Bible stress the religious importance of an annual pilgrimage (Hajj in Arabic, Hag in Hebrew) to a sacred location. In Biblical times the Hebrew word Hag was pronounced Haj. The Qur’an states: “So keep the three Haj (Pilgrimage) days and seven fasts when you return.” (2:196) and the Torah states: Three times a year all your men are to appear before the God of Israel. (Exodus 34:23) The Torah also declares, “Celebrate Haj Sukkot for seven days after you have harvested the (fall) produce of your threshing floor and your winepress. Be joyful at your festival-you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, Levites, foreigners, orphans and the widows who live in your towns. For seven days celebrate the (pilgrimage) festival to the Lord your God… Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place He will choose: at the (spring) Haj of Matzot, the Haj of Weeks (seven weeks later), and the (fall) Haj of Sukkot. (Deuteronomy 16:13-16) The Haj of Sukkot was chosen by Prophet Solomon to dedicate the First Temple in Jerusalem. (1Kings 8; 2). Haj Sukkot was so important during the centuries when Solomon's Temple stood that the holy day week of Sukkot was often called simply "the Haj” (1 Kings 8:3; 8:65; 12:62; 2 Chronicles 5:3; 7:8) because of the very large numbers of Jews who came up to the Temple in Jerusalem.

I' just a layman, an undergraduate level of formal theological education at best, however sometimes I feel as if Dr. Tabor under sells how much emphasis Paul *does* place on the importance of ethics. I think Paul would 100% not only endorse the concepts in the letter of James but himself preached them. Even the faith-works dynamics. Paul mainly had to deal with Gentile-Jewish religious inter relational concerns and so his letters largely reflect that and are not always treatises on ethics which he certainly reminds his readers that he taught them and strictly warned them about. I think Paul says what James says but simply adds that the power source and vitalizing energy for the christian belief lies in the death and resurrection of Jesus (among other power sources). A question to ask, which Dr Tabor and Blogging Theology have asked and considered, is did the other 12 disciples know of, understand, and agree with the ideas Paul had about Jesus' death and resurrection and its subsequent ramifications. Blogging Theology believes they did not I think. I think Tabor as well or at least he hesitates to think they agreed. I'm not a trained historian or textual critic, so i'm only trying to exegete the New Testament, not mine the New Testament for historicity. In Galatians, in Paul's account of things, he says to Peter "How can you compel gentiles to live like a Jew when you yourself live like a Gentile!". I had presumed that Paul was saying that Peter had initially had some sort of agreement and shared understanding of Paul's idealogy that allowed him to think he was free from obligation or total obligation to the law of Moses (Paul early had claimed that James and Peter had already heard his gospel and gave him the hand of fellowship). He may have vascillated when men from James came, but this is still significant because, according to Paul, it seems like Peter *did* agree with Paul's gospel at least at some point even adopting it to his lifestyle. There is of course the book of Acts, which I understand Dr.Tabor and many others believe is a bit of Luke making Christian history and development seem smoother than it perhaps really was. In Acts there was friction but eventual tolerance if not complete agreement between James and Paul eventually.

Yes Paul came from Galilee as we read in Jerome and escaped to Tarsus "taking his parents with him." When was this? When the Romans besieged the town which was in AD67/68. This places Paul and indeed the new Christian movement after the war with the Jews.

We still have Ebionites? That’s so cool. Do you guys have like an organized community? What books of New Testament do you guys follow? I have so many more questions. I wish there was more stuff about you guys on the internet.
@MinisterRedPill10 ай бұрын
@@Bhojani1 well, I think there are fringe groups who claim Ebionism, who have different beliefs. I personally don't know any save only a few who claimed they were trying to restore the ancient style of Hebrew and move to the Philippines as some way of fulfilling end time prophecy. But that's just one group. I personally only accept the Torah, Prophets, and Writings as true scripture. Others I make small account of. Aside from accepting Yeshua as Messiah, I do accept the 4 Gospels - but not as inspired writings. I do believe that the original gospel of Matthew is probably the fabled "Q" gospel that scholars have touted for the last 200 years. And I believe that Yeshua put Peter in charge of the organization of the church. I accept the apocryphal acts (mostly found in the so called "contendings of the Apostles" literature that has come down from the ethiopian church), I accept the literature attributed to Clement such as the Ethiopic Didascalia, Arabic apocalypse of Peter, Epistula Apostolorum, and the syriac Clementine Recognitions. These writings unfortunately, have been corrupted by Christian scribes but one day I intend to try and restore them to what would have been proper Jewish Petrine "Christianity". That's what I meant in my original post by "I wish to bring James out of oblivion" because these writings in some way preserve the true doctrines and accounts of the Apostles. But these are my beliefs, I'm sure other Ebionites have different views. One thing we all have in common is that we reject Paul as an apostate. And I personally believe that he was Simon Magus. Both of these men have the gematria value of 616, which is the original value that John wrote in his Apocalypse. Hopefully that all makes sense, feel free to ask more questions if you need clarification.

Will you invite Dr Joshua Little on your platform to discuss Hadith Sciences?
@SAM_KBI Жыл бұрын
Joshua Little is hyper critical revisionist when it comes to Hadith science. This guy faces critique from the traditional scholars as western academics because of his narrow minded approach where doesn't take the rich Islamic scholarship into account. He even don't believe the prophet pbuh married Aisha RA at a young age. If he is that negative about the Hadith science then Christian literature stand absolutly no chance with this hyper critical guy.
@jeremiahpillay6219 Жыл бұрын
@SAM_KBI That's my point precisely. Paul Williams invites people like Dale Martin, a gay Liberal Christian scholar and Bart Ehrman whom doesn't even believe in a God yet doesn't even apply the same critism to Islam even the slightest. He's a hypocrite and keeps his audience in an echo chamber because of his confirmation bias.

Thanks for your work. If I may ask an off-topic question, why did the Catholic church choose Peter as its leader or founder such that the Pope is the vicar of Peter? In my modest understanding , it is by virtue of this selection of Peter that the Church of Rome claimed superiority over the Eastern Churches in Egypt and Syria. Thanks.

Starting around 50:00 more or less about the discussion of Jesus being a sacrifice for atonement of sins and the parable of the two praying men. I've seen that Christians seem to draw a line between being justified and being saved. Like being justified is not per se forgiveness of sins and that it was reserved for those who died before Jesus. After Jesus' death then by his blood all can be "saved" including those before Christ. I think that's just twisting the letter to justify (no pun intended) the view of Jesus being a blood sacrifice for sins.

I wish I had any hope that if I shared this fantastic conversation with my Christian friends and family, they would have open hearts about it and not outright attack me and tell me lost my soul is. Paul is a contradiction of everything in the “old” testament, which Christianity says is its foundation; and if that’s invalidated, where is the basis for this doctrine at all?

Paul's Christianity, Peter's Christianity and John's Christianity are what are prominent in the Bible they agree well. Where is the James Christianity which is the continuation of Moses law?
