the secret trick to playing kendo after the nerfs is just that the gamma damage doesn't matter. if someone wakes up with buttons into one they will wake up with buttons into three no questions asked. just keep catching those wake ups.

I'm a firm believer that if you wanna prove you are actually good at this game and aren't carried by your character then play kendo if you can style and win games or just difficult exchanges with a grounded short range character like her in MHUR's current climate then I think it's safe to say you are actually good at what you do. The only reason I can think they nerfed the alpha is its a spray shot, capable of hitting multiple people in the air, and has a wider hit range, in a meta that is currently dominated by aerial characters like nejjre and hawks, and rapids in general, and they wanted them to still shine. In a dogfight in the air when multiple characters are grouped up, she can spray them with her alpha.

On Reddit, someone by the name of Crafty who mains FB Deku made a build where, on health, it does 408 with plus ultra and 2 red cards. Sure, that’s with prep, but even without prep it’s fucking insane. It is NOT a problem of Kendo doing too much damage. Keep in mind that 1 shots Kirishima without hardening, and also Kendo and other 400 HP characters.

Sucks the most when playing projectile based characters since i can’t move my reticle to where they’re running cause it sticks so much 😭

I know what you mean it’s something I just got used to after playing for a long time. My sens is barely increased sitting at 110 x and y. For most characters the projectile is hit scan so leading isn’t too necessary but when it is I just fight the aim assist to go ahead

as someone who played kendo.... shes cooked. its so hard to secure KOs now, her shield startup is slow as hell and barely blocks anything that's worth blocking (Overhaul Gamma, Strike Dabi Alpha, etc.) and it breaks so easily. Nejire's beta breaks it in one hit. The main issue with her now is just the damage though, the difference is hugely noticeable

A great ideas with the tuning system is to put the perk that gives you wall run on characters like shoto and overhaul and now that tech shoto can climb on his ice he might be able to run on his ice too that would be crazy fun but sadly I don’t have him if anyone tries that tell me what happened

A bit of Kendo tech that will help you chase down the rapids better, if you tap your shield while jumping and then throw your alpha it'll conserve more of your dash speed allowing you to keep up.

I’ve seen one kendo since the start of this season even in prior seasons I’d only see like one every two weeks. Kendo players are a rare people and respect to them it’s like ibara players to me. Nerfs weren’t really needed or necessary for her it would’ve made more sense to nerf or buff the very much underpicked and under preforming characters but that’d require too much sense it would seem.

I came back to this game after switching to my Old pc today, and got Nejire on my second pull. Also this tuning bit seems like it can be exploited by P2W, but it's a little neat that you can add some buffs to your characters with the extra currencies you have built up from failed gachas.

You can get that with GOLD, THE MOST USELSESS CURRENCY IN THE GAME, and I am 100% sure that's the best possible one to use for a Mirio build.

...I've had an unfortunate realization. The Kirishima Skillset is gonna be more grounded than the original. None of those abilities can be used for vertical mobility. So, he'll be good in combat now, but he still won't be able to run from rapids.

For characters that might not seen as a problem get nerfed, it’s probably due to pc players getting certain characters nerfed. Console players doesn’t have cracked aim like pc so they probably got kendo nerfed. So blame them for kendo, yellow deku and red Baku getting damage nerfs🤷‍♂️

Obviously they were deserved.She's been the most broken character since her release.Her beta counters hawks beta(hawks is a weak chracter atm) which then can result in a whopping 140 for hawks.NOT TO MENTION Tech dabi.He is a a absoulute menace if he catches you.he can do 180 DAMAGE WITH A MAXED GAMMA IF HE HITS YOU THEN MELEES.The nerfs were deserved 100 percent
