@@deadgoodwalks Yes, what I can see you were moving yours len just to fast that we couldn't see(or read)what are the writings on the tombstones tell especially it's now looked blacken and fade! P/s : I watched many of your videos, I'm so astonished of why there are so many abandoned graveyards in your country? From what I can see no body care, not been maintened, over grown grass and the worse is that some of the graves were damaged! In my home town we always take care our old graveyards and do the maintences!

Really not try to be rude, just a hint, use the pause button. Closer would be good and steady for a second..but as for time to read, hit pause, then you can zoom pause image as well.

What a beautiful Churchyard. It’s nice when there’s information on the headstones saying what they did in life. In a lot of smaller villages and ports most people would have known each other too.. I think it’s more interesting sometimes than all the big flash monuments and crypts. It paints a picture of what life was in their times ..Thank you for the walk ..Love n Light 🥰

3:55- It was actually quite common to name a child after an older one that had previously passed. The best historical example I can come up with off the top of my head is Alexander Hamilton's oldest son was named Phillip. After he died, their youngest son, born just a few months later, was named Phillip as well. It was very common.

That's about the best definition for Davy Jones's Locker that I've ever heard. These days RN could mean Royal Navy, or Registered Nurse, but I didn't know about the 'Royal Nurse' bit - perhaps it was once an honorific for someone who served royalty? That was a great tour, appreciated; and I'll bet that expats overseas would be delighted too.

There used to be a big graveyard by the sea in Aberystwyth but it has been removed now although I think some headstones remain around the edge of what it has become. I remember going there in my 20's and you would often see children from the same family being given the same names, so if one died and they had another baby they would give that child the name of the one who died. I have not seen it anywhere else, but it is quite fascinating. It's a shame that they changed the graveyard there as it was full of old and beautiful headstones.

@@deadgoodwalks Thank you for that. The church began life as a Norman monastery, but there is so much to offer in the town - the castle & the walls. The Elizabethan mansion Plas Mawr, also the oldest house in Conwy. The smallest house located on the quay - & so much more!! Apologies for the boast, but I’ve always loved the place, even though I now live in Chester.
