I’m so bothered by everyone telling Kenzie to stop crying all the time. She was what, 6 at the time? 6 year olds cry. They’re still learning emotional regulation. Maybe if they took the time to get to the root of the problem instead of calling her a baby and telling her to stop crying she would’ve cried less. It honestly a miracle all the girls are as well adjusted as they are.
@ckilbarger012 жыл бұрын
I feel like Melissa caught on early that if the kids cry on camera it will most likely make the show and that it wouldn't be put in a favorable light and that's more why Mackenzie was being told not to cry. Christie and Kelly have mentioned that Melissa was notorious for herding her girls to the bathroom if they seemed like they were going to cry so they wouldn't do it on camera

@maevereynolds6344 so... you wanted her to be lied to? She was being prepared for the roles that were available to her at that time (remember this was YEARS ago). Dance is still very much segregated, and it goes both ways. I'm sure white dancers have a rough time making it into Beyonce videos. It's just a reality these young *professionals* have to be *prepared* for when they audition. I think they shouldn't have had her audition at all, if it was real life she would have skipped the audition and auditioned for a role more suited to her. Kurt and Melissa got a divorce in 2011. The show aired July 2011. So I’m not sure if she ever had an affair while the show was airing, but she absolutely had an affair before the show aired. Melissa’s new husband Greg used to be her boss. (This is why Christie always said Melissa had an affair with her boss). And Maddie and Mackenzie have since said that Kurt was a horrible father. Maddie said when they were very young that Kurt refused to wake up and get the girls ready for school so she had to call her mom because she couldn’t pick up the milk to fix Mackenzie’s cereal. The girls also say that he doesn’t seem to want a relationship with them.

I think that Chloe was going to get the role anyways I bet the producers told the hairdressers to do her hair a certain way to look like lux and Paige would have to get her hair done again so I’m going to say Chloe was already picked

Wait, Melissa didn’t want Maddie’s partner dropping her, so she wanted Maddie and McKenzie to switch partners? So her younger daughter could be dropped instead?
@taylorhastie10222 жыл бұрын
It's because McKenzie is smaller than Maddie so she would harder to drop

Maddie's partner dropped her bc she was bigger than him, Melissa wanted Maddie and McKenzie to switch bc Kenzies partner was bigger than Maddie's current and probably would've had an easier time lifting her.

@@loveandpeace6903 I’m sure y’all can tell yourselves that but how do you know he wouldn’t have dropped Kenzie either? Let’s be real here lmao. Melissa saying “I don’t want him to drop my daughter (not daughters)” and then going on to suggest he take Kenzie which he could have also dropped says everything. If she were a real mom who were concerned she wouldn’t have trusted the boy with her other daughter either as a lot of moms are, if you drop one daughter I’m sure a regular mom wouldn’t want you to even try the other one no matter how much smaller they are she wouldn’t trust it anymore lol. But Melissa would rather her “star child” not take the fall.

When all the girls were told to improve and Kenzie went up and she ran I felt bad. Some of the girls and Abby were laughing. It’s too normalized to pick on ppl just cause we know it. It can cause insecurities.

Maddie did look too creepy during the whole music video. She was just a kid and didn't understand yet.

It breaks my heart to hear that they thought Nia has best performance but not the right look. I’d have loved to have seen Nia as the lead but I can understand why she didn’t fit the role. I wish there were more opportunities for nia on the show.
