Was the Menga Dolmen in Southern Spain a Tomb?

Hey, i just visited the dolmen de menga and it was incredible. I spoke to one of the staff members and he said that the interesting thing about the well is that it is the same measurement as the diameter of the burial mound, maybe suggesting it was an Original feature. It seems like quite a coincidink otherwise. Nice video, lots of detail.

the experience of seeing the sleeping (staring?) giant profile that Menga frames is very moving, you are right it is a temple. Solstices are temporal but Menga is a daily show of the power of humanity and it's connection to the cosmos.

Anything megalithic is said to be either a tomb either a temple. Not much research... For this is clearly functional, it was clearly done via technology that made the weight not so difficult to work with. If the purpose is the ceremony or the calendar, they did not have to use the most difficult means to put together something. The fact that they used the most difficult method points to the fact that we are missing a lot of information.
