502 and 518 are also doorfront services: no need to take a bus to the MRT and transfer a lot whnr you have lots of shopping bags

Dont forget 2 is also a redundancy for EWL from Tanah Merah to Bugis, and 2 plays an important role in this too

I have mentioned this many times, but keeping at least one route to duplicate some (not all) sectors of a line has proven to be a good thing. Besides providing the short shuttle travel to avoid "in and out" rides that only serves to anger rail commuters (cause who in the heck wants to move to the centre of the car when you're literally alighting AT THE NEXT STATION), the recent EWL disruption could have been a lot worse for commuters without the presence of routes like 105 or 502. Strong demand from routes like 2, 65, and 147 till today proves the case to spare some routes, but I am really not holding my breath to expect any changes, especially with an inevitable TEL4 rationalisation that is still yet to come.

I was dissapointed when i heard service 81 is going to be extended to Woodleigh. 81 goes to tampines, Lta forget at bartley road there' s 2 bus service going to tampines 28 & 129. The planning is wrong, 81 should start at tampines & end at buangkok new ith

81's main catchment is NEX remove it and it'll defeat the purpose of the service buangkok already has 27 if you're going pasir ris you can change at TPE bus stop
