Never seen a Celtic team have the control and composure on the ball that they did in the second half! Absolutely brilliant performance against a top team! Macgregor ,Hatate and Kuhn were outstanding 😁🍀

Celtic controlled the game is the guy's point. That didn't happen against Barcelona, great as that game was. That's why folks are comparing it to the Benfica or Lyon performances.

Leipzig and Atalanta performances are the blueprint for Europe now Assuming we reach the next round either as top 8 or via play offs, I don't think any side will be rubbing their hands at the thought of playing Celtic, not like they would have last few seasons. I don't think we've ever dominated a top side in Europe for 80 mins the way we did against Leipzig, credit to the manager and the players for an outstanding night

In 35 years of following Celtic I have never seen such a composed, dynamic and professional display. Callum Macgregor’s stats in that game have put him firmly in the upper echelons of European football. A true captains display! Kuhn, Hat-ate, Trusty and Johnston exemplary too. Brodgers should take a bow.

I watched the champions league game with my son and as it played out around 70mins I said to him, "we look like a proper European team here" controlled the ball, wee triangle passing to beat their press and exposed the space left by the opposition when it was there. Fantastic performance and result. 💚

Do we dare to dream of a Top 8 finish now? Before a ball was kicked, a realistic prediction from our first four fixtures would have been 3pts or 4pts from our first four games. The general consensus was that we'd need to beat Brugge & Young Boys at home (along with Slovan) in order to get us on to 9pts and then we'd just need one big result from Leipzig at home or one of our 4 away games. Well we've already delivered the big win and also a "bonus point" from Bergamo to leave us on 7pts after 4 games instead of 3 or 4 points. We're now heading in to the more "winnable" games. We've got ourselves in to a great position now but can we kick on?

The irony of McKinnes talking about visiting fans showing respect at their home stadium is remarkable, as his club displays massive disrespect to all the visiting SPFL teams and their paying fans every time a match is played on that absolutely honking abomination of a football pitch. Top class boys, always a great watch . I said after Dortmund it was a really bad night and we collapsed , a freak result . Of course lambasted and told Brendan’s a mug and results don’t lie bollocks . Reality is cl you don’t turn up and you get smashed . This dosent mean you are bad team often jmeans you just had a hellish might.

We're kind of having the season we're having without Kyogo being in great form, but I think that will come soon. Also Engels and Idah haven't had a proper preseason with us, so there is more to come from them too. If all those players peak at the same time, we will take 10 off a team in Scotland. I've also got a feeling Leipzig wont be the highlight game of our European campaign, which is exciting stuff.

Kuhn is the sort of player that ourselves and dozens of clubs (outside of the super rich clubs) are looking for. A "wonderkid" who came through the ranks at Bayern, Real, Barcelona, Man City.... who was highly rated at 15-17yo but for one reason or another fell down the pecking order and had a few loan spells but never really found a home. He's now 21-23yo playing for a mid range club in a mid range league etc... We can get him for a reasonable fee. Maybe he just needs a second chance and some coaching staff & teammates that bring the best out of him..... This appears to be what happened with Kuhn. The problem is that these sorts of signings are very hit & miss. The hits are spectacular (Jota, Kuhn, CCV, VVD...) but there are dozens of misses.

I completely agree with you guys on the "free speech" discussion. People can behave in whatever way they want. I am a strong believer in the philosophy of "controlling your own emotions." we can only control our own reaction to any influence by another person, and we're not able to control their initial action. I'm unhappy with the press calling the "aidan macinespie" song a "pro IRA song." in their headlines. If anything it's a thought provoking song about an innocent person caught up in a terrible situation of which he had no control and he lost his life as a result.

'Facts don't care about feelings ' you say. Facts don't have feelings so that makes no sense,so why say it ? Are you suggesting that feeling s do not matter and only facts do ? Are feelings not a fact ? If you feel confused reading this is that false because you feel it ? Feelings are of primary importance when dealing with subjects in a huge proportion of matters and are only dismissed by those who don't look into the matter sufficiently enough. Good day.
