Was this a near miss? Another adventure in my EuroFOX Microlight Light Sports Aircraft.

Eve & I take advantage of the good weather to fly to Goodwood. We did not anticipate that every bird, plane and helicopter would also be competing for the same airspace! Looking back we wonder if some of our encounters would be classed as a near miss.

I think the airfield at Thorney Island is currently called Baker Barracks and is a Royal Artillery establishment.

We went to Kemble in Ozees, helmets and gloves recently, no T shirts for us. 🤣🤣🤣 seriously, good video. Although I fly flexwing I just love flying in general. I am 65 and when I get older may transfer to 3 axis for more comfort, who knows.

Yes there is a small microlight club based at Thorney Island. Mostly flexwings but there are two 3-axis fixed wing aircraft, including my Eurofox (MFOX)

Your EEE was working well again on the flight (Eagle Eyed Eve) 👀 I did wonder at the very start when you were looking in the back if you were looking for Jimmy. My father-in-law worked on the Fairey Swordfish in the Fleet Air Arm and was stationed at Thorney Island for a while.

I would not consider the traffic from the right as a near miss from your point but was from his as they had right of way "On the right in the right" but who would want to argue about it in heaven?
