I use venison weekly in my cooking… it is the original “organic meat”… I miss my pasta… my glucose does not like it… but your meal looked amazing. Thank you for sharing. I make fire starters similar to what you made… but you cannot get paper eggs cartons (easily) here in the states so I started using paper muffin cups, place them in an old muffin tin and the rest is the same as your version. Spring is around the corner and stay safe.

Wow that looks amazing, on Friday my aunts ashes were buried and we all went back to another Aunts for lunch, so on Thursday I ground Rump Steak, Pork Chop and Gammon Ham, caramelised onions, garlic, fresh Thyme and Parsley, lined a 4 lb loaf tin with streaky Bacon and made an awesome Glazed Meatloaf for the spread ✌❤🙏🥂🇬🇧

Yes, I've made firestarters like that too. When you use drier lint it's supposed to smell nice when it burns, but I never noticed that. I always melted the wax in a double boiler because the wax is flammable, but obviously your wax kettle works just great. Maybe the stove is a lower heat? Regardless, looks like a nice peaceful day in the cabin. Enjoy your week, Lisette. Stay warm, stay safe. 🙂❤

I tried the dryer lint and candle wax ( but after I found my hair in the lint, 😳😜 I tried it in our outdoor fire tower (a great buy from Aldi!). Some of the wax leaked down the side somehow. Was wondering if you have wax residue on the bottom of the stove or does it burn off?

A great suggestion from Chef Jean Pierre on KZbin, everytime you take a hot pan with a handle out of the oven and you leave it on the counter to cool......ALWAYS put a potholder or towel around the handle so you don't make the mistake of grabbing it later and burn your hand
