If it wasn’t for the branding in the strap, I think this would be awesome and I would order it. Even for the $50 it’s currently going for, I couldn’t justify it because that strap is hideous.

I agree but there are some nice aftermarket Gshock straps and adapters out there. I picked up a watch from the liquidation sale and was tempted to throw this on just because I like the watch head with the snail and would just replace the bracelet. Always kind of wanted a square G but just never end up pulling the trigger

It was tempting until i saw the international shipping fee. $50. That makes it $99 + taxes. Nope. Oh well, cant have everything :)

I've always felt that adding some "luxury name" to an already good watch will NEVER justify those price increases.

After many years in the watch game this was my first G-Shock (and first digital in 2 decades), having gotten it via the fire sale right after watching your video. While I never heard of Online Ceramics the watch's color palette and the presentation it came wrapped made it a steal. I enjoy wearing this very much.

I have a feeling that Online Ceramics LE is very cool for people who know the brand and has some of their apparel stuff but for the rest of watch collecting world it doesn't mean much and asking 180 dollars for it is the last nail in the coffin, the cool part of a G-Shock like the DW5600 is that you can get a heck of a watch for not a lot.

Yep, rant away!!! I have been bragging hard about getting my Bremont for $3,570 (down from $4,200) on a cruise ship, and then Hodinkee came in like, “Hold my beer” 😂 with it priced at $2,950. The watch was only released this year, or maybe late last year, so that’s a sign Bremont might be on the decline. I still might have gotten a deal, though, since I didn’t pay sales tax being in international waters. Oddly, it’s been a bit of a relief. I cycle through so many watches for the channel that I sometimes look at my collection and just see a pile of bills sitting unworn. But since I’m so underwater on that Bremont, it makes no sense to sell it.
