Bloody hell that was higher tide than I thought, but im glad you made it off safely. I think it would be good for you all to go back there and spend the night so you can overcome any fears its created. There's something you could try if you want, get a large inflatable life raft and a lake, spend the night in it and only use the supplies provided in the raft. There's water, food, lighting etc, you'll love it. 😀👍

I don't think that chain is actually attached to the ground, it's attached to what looks like buoy that was it was originally anchored to before it fecked off. If you look at images that buoy does move positions so I don't think its doing jack shit. I think the only thing keeping it grounded is the fact that it fills with water
