As a Michigan fan, I think the difference was your QB really can't extend a play once the pocket collapses on him. If he has protection, he can make perfect throws and we saw some of them, but once he feels the pressure he doesn't really know how to improvise and he just panic throws - and that's what cost the game.

The best leaders and managers all delagate to assistants.... Day is QB Coach, Offensive coordinator, game manager and HC... and Special Teams needs a coach but Day is micromanaging all the decisions. @robertbricker Жыл бұрын
There are several really simple explanations - any of which would have changed the outcome. In order. (1) Bookend interceptions - clearly changed the game from end to end. It reminded me of the games where OSU topped UM in the past, in reverse. (2) STILL can't stop Michigan running in the 2nd half. For a team that prides itself on half-time adjustments, UM has outdone OSU in EACH of the last 3 years, and once again the defense could NOT stop UM rushing when it had to. (3) THE touchdown call - which just as easily could've been called an interception, but I hate to blame referee calls. I also really hate to think of Coach Day as the metaphorical reincarnation of John Cooper but THREE IN A ROW?!? Wow. I find myself going back to the day Coach JT took over the program and in his speech talked about how we'd be proud of the team ... next game in Michigan. It's been a long time since the worm's turned, but it has now, no question about it. And we are down looking up.
