My family used to come here in the 60,s when lines of cars would drive and park right up to the waters edge. I still have many old photos of those glorious sunny summers at Wasaga beach. I’m now living in Eastbourne England but have very fond memories of those days. 😀 ,

Great story, I could see the image with the eyes of my mind :-) This is one of the reasons we have this youtube channel. Beside the fact that we want to show people different parts of the world, it is also a great way to preserve our memories. Have a wonderful weekend!

I have never been to Wasaga beach. I almost went a week ago but the weather stopped my trip. It looks beautiful and I like how they have the strip of shops and roof top patio. Very nice walk around. The water looks nice too and it’s great to hear all the laughter of people enjoying themselves. Very nice! 👍😊🇨🇦

It is a nice area, Wasaga Beach has 5 or 6 beach areas I think, this is Area 1 and is the most popular and the most busy at the same time :-) Thank you for watching, have a wonderful day!

Wasaga is definitely a great beach; but the crowds can be too much. Give me a sandy strip of shore on any of the beautiful smaller lakes in Ontario any day!
@shapeoftimes2 жыл бұрын
I agree with you! Everything seems overcrowded during the weekend. We used to go to Area 5 at Wasaga, but last year the water was so high, there was barely any beach left....

Hi I hope everything is going well😄 I have some questions I hope you can answer me because hopefully we want to go to Wasaga next week😊Is this Wasaga beach area 1? If yes, do you know the parking lot price? The last question, would you also recommend other Wasaga beach areas, which one is the best? I hope you can answer me. Thanks for your time and take care🙋🏻♀️
@shapeoftimes5 ай бұрын
Hello! Yes, this is Wasaga Beach Area 1. There is a municipal parking lot right at the entrance of the beach. I believe it is something like 6$/hour or 30-40$/day, but you should check an official website, or maybe give them a call to be sure, as rates can change. Area 1 has the best beach, shops, restaurants and is the busiest and liveliest. We have also been to Area 5 which is quiet, more nature, the beach is smaller. Enjoy your trip at the beach!🙂

A beach with people literally crapping on it isn't the best in the world.
@WillC-k5r3 ай бұрын
No it isn't - way too many Toronto ppl. The location of the best beach in Ontario is a well guarded secret. (Boiler Beach, of course)

Is this the beach in Ontario where you can walk WAY out and the water is barely past your knees? Awesome beach! I am now in my 60's went there last time in the 1990's. It WAS so remote back then, looks like a crowded FLA beach now..... too bad really.
@shapeoftimes8 ай бұрын
The water is pretty shallow there, yes :-) Wasaga Beach actually has 6 Areas. This is Area 1 which is the busiest and the most popular specially with young people. We used to go to Area 5 which is more remote, with picnic areas, a lot of trees, no stores. That is more quiet and it feels remote indeed...
