Unnecessarily idiosyncratic style. He’s made a mess of what is a beautiful bandish. Why? Just why? The convulsions on the line kaise kaise bol bolat sound almost epileptic. Please listen to Pandit Mallikarjun Mansur to hear a melodious Nat Bihaag.

Best rendition after faiyaz khan is from pandit kumar prasad Mukherjee.. too much of atrauli touch ruined the agra bandish.

I love his playful rendition. Nat bihag requires a sense of abandon, and he exhibits that in the right proportion. Mallikarjun Mansur has a very different style in general and also belongs to a different gharana. So there's no point comparing them!
